Views on div 6

Any views on teams in div 6, us at sporting birstall are bringing some new players in to strengthen the squad , don't no anything about the other teams except Dulka, who have a good team and play some good football.

think you will do well this season based on what I have seen - and if you play both those 7 foot lads upfront together (don't think they shared much pitch time on Sunday because of rolling subs) then they could cause havoc!

Played against Pollards a few seasons ago when they were E FC, do they still have Heskey's brother? Not sure about any other teams so looking forward to starting the season and finding out..

(PS We are the new team in div 6 for this year! )

I expect Pollards and Hat and Beaver (if they can sort their defence out) to be up there.

Even we players at Pollards don't know. I found out via Gordon's post this morning.

Haha to be fair, weve had a good division this season, all good bunch of lads really! Only one clown from beaver really p*ssed us off lol

Good luck to your lads in div 4, may be a step too far for Sam Evans

From what I can work out, I think the division will be of a fairly even standard this year. Unless of course some team bring a load of new players.

Global will be pretty much the same bunch as last year which would indicate a cracking start and a terrible finish!

Division looks good, we have got a few quality players joining is so will hopefully be challenging!

bowden with joachim will tear the league up i rekon. mivan will do well. dont rule out wheel either if they sign a striker

Little bowden by the sounds of it could do well next season. I also think if global get kris mort firing again they have enough about them selves to do well. Got a few decent players there

Julian Joachim, Ex Leicester, Villa player. Apparently signing for little Bowden this coming season.

He'll be in the right division then, poor player, thats why leicester got rid of him.

He won't play he will be in the bookies.

Pollards players will be all suspended if they resigned to late in the season, the team gets fined and then i think its split between all the players that were signed on last season.

Cheers mate, birstall should do ok this season, only got five players left in team from last season. Just had another striker sign for us and should get us plenty of goals, carn't wait till season starts. Hows your team coming on?

total revamp of your team then, who have you got left from last season? has your old striker left then?

Yeh just about, the strikers playing in spain at the moment, but should be back for us in October. Only players left are goalie and a couple of defenders and midfielders, the new strikers should get us plenty of goals hopefully

Birstall will do well this season i thought they had alot of potential last season just needed more exsperience

Joachim to Bowden could be interesting if true! Hes playing at the legends tournament on Sunday at goals so may nip down and have a word!

still can't see it but stranger things have happened!

We played sporting birstall last week and were very dangerous and will get better and better as the season goes on.
Not heard much more about the "pot hunters" LKS. Seemed to of gone quiet.
Red admiral ( the wheel) seem very confident their gonna have a very good season.
Not heard of anymore about other teams pre season though

Div 6 looks to be a very tough division again.It was very tough last year and very close from 3rd to 8th place from what i remember.We lost a few key players to injury/travelling etc and were dissapointed with how we finished the season.

We have a bigger squad this year and if we can keep fit then should be a match for most sides with a bit of luck.....

Having said that we know very little bout the new sides and from what ive read on here sounds like theres a few that fancy there chances.We are more than happy being the underdogs

just so you know guys, im the LKS secretary, we struggled but won against huncote reserves 9 - 8, we lost to niffy rangers, and drew with friar lane (div 7) ....... we are about the same standard so this "pot hunter" tag is a myth.
think some of the sides we have played in pre-season can hopefully back that up, we have got some good players but im sure you think that about your own teams too.
only team i have heard of is dulka hillside who i was surprised to see in our division so them, and my friends side little bowden will be the teams to beat in my opinion!!
