We're pretty happy with our position, 3 points off second, with inconsistency of team selection! We've not been able to play the same team twice due to players injuries, holidays, weddings etc. The next two cup weeks will do us good as most of our players are coming back now and be ready for our next league game v's White Eagles. Hopefuy with our new signing bedded in and possibly one more we hope to push on now. We started slow last year but hope we can have the same run as last season.
Have been very impressed with royalist and aylestone athletic as, from their positions last year, wasn't expecting too much out of them but their results have been good and will both challenge at the top. White eagles and inter Mivan are the teams to beat for me, with LKS the dark horses. Don't no too much about them but they've had a similar start to ourselves and think they'll do alright

Last season was our first season and more of a settling in season. We lost to both Firs and Friar Lane yet beat NRI Reserves and Harrow in the cups last season which showed our inconsistency. Over the summer we lost one of our centre backs Michael Rice and our right back Nilesh Sisodia as both have now gone to university and losing Zoran Micic to work duties but have strengthened with the additions of Dejan Starcevic, Rob Grimes, Harry Davies and Alex Stewart. We have a squad of around 16 now with more strength in depth than last season and a much better attitude throughout the team. If we can keep this up, I have no doubt in my mind that we will be there or thereabouts at the end of the season but as everyone knows, it will be a long season with everybody beating everybody. I think it will be a lot tighter than last season's division 6 and we're happy to have had the start we have. Now on to two tough fixtures away at Oak and Mivan within the space of a week!
