| St marks 2-0 The gate.
The gate scored a lovely built up goal that was flagged offside. I was inline with st marks Lino and it wasn't offside.
Shortly after st marks got both their goals.

Another solid performance from our boys today. We probably deserved the win too but we will take a point there. Four points from top four sides last two games. Hope we can keep the momentum going now.

No game today so went watched my old team. 2 different styles off football on show mivan was trying to get ball down and play , Bowden was mainly hoofing it. Bowden had the better chances though and missed couple off one on ones. Don't know if was mivan normal centre backs but they looked bit ropey. The Asian lad with beard and tall white lad for mivan had bit off class about them though and most good mivan stuff came through them. Overall think draw fair result. No more free weeks please mr fixture sec

Won 4-3 today against niffy but in all honesty we were awful and niffy deserved at least a point from the game if not the win!! They battled so hard and were a good set of lads.

| North Kilworth Sunday 3 - 1 Wigston Fields
Game of two halves today, and a good game or spectators and the neutral. After the thrashing last week a change of tactics took place and we came out with a bit of confidence, passing the ball around and looking like a decent team. But for all the ball and half chances we couldn't really convert one through good saves from the keeper and blocks for defenders. Then from a bit of lyk and pinball in our area the ball fell to NKS striker who converted well for 1-0 (against the run of play in all honesty). After that the game opened up a bit and chances created for both teams to create a very interesting spectacule. After the break the game was won, two goals in 10 minutes (which were deserved) killed us off. After that our keeper kept us in it, we so a penalty which was cooly converted by Chris Weston but we could really find any more chances after than other than Steve Toone forcing the keeper into a wonder save with his left footed shot looking bound for the top corner. Good game, good performance and not a bad result

| Talbot 3 - 3 LDA
We had it shuffle around today, with 6 first teamers missing.. Our only sub was a lad that hadn't played 11 a-side competitively before. when we saw Talbot's 22 players we expected a hiding.
The first half was very even. Talbot had a couple of early chances that were hard to miss but they obliged, thankfully. Talbot were then "cheated" out of a goal due to an offside. I know he was onside because there were 15+ blokes in red jackets telling me so from 50 yards away.
Fortunately we went straight up the other end and Brad Downing scored. It was not undeserved though. Going in at 1-0 for half time we were happy with the scoreline.
Second half started very badly. Talbot realised they had a spare man in midfield and actually made use of him. 3 decent goals in 15 minutes appeared to have won the game for Talbot. We were shattered, they were playing some decent stuff.
They self imploded, however. Following the manager's vocal example, they decided to waste their time telling the referee, with some lovely vocabulary, how to do his job. While they were arguing we grabbed a couple of goals to level the match. Liam Aubrey latched on to a clearance and smashed through the keeper from a narrow angle. Brad then got the equaliser, breaking down the left and finishing with a shot across the keeper.
The keeper, who should enjoy a week or two off, was red carded after the game for his continued vile language. I'm not sure why it took th referee until after the whistle to react to the abuse he received during the second half.
1 point gained for us. 2 points stupidly thrown away for Talbot.

Not at the races today and we expect better. Passing was short and defending was poor, missed too many chances as well. A draw was the fair result but we all know we need to step our game up.

First team drew with Magna 2 - 2. Missed a header inside the last minute, couldve clinched it. Teams were fairly even though today, just felt Magna were let down by an absoloute PLANK at the back. Some of their lads couldnt believe what he was getting away with! The ref bottled it and only booked him. But booked two of our lads when they complained that he didnt do anything for a blatant kick when one lad was jumping for a header. It was the very same idiot that had already been booked. Couldve changed the game, never mind eh!

We were 3 nil down early on really. Pleased with the second half performance. Everyone on the pitch knows there final goal was offside but when you turn up with 11 you have to deal with it it. It was good of them to provide 2 linesman. Thought it was a decent game on easily the best pitch we've played on this season. Best of luck to Qpr for the rest of the season.

| Not only was our game some what lack lustre, its been quite costly in players too, looks like we might have a couple of long term injuries now.
Looking Like our double promotion was a step to far to quickly, just can't see us winning a league game at the minute.
Would like to say also though that I thought the ref in our game was top notch, pretty much perfect game.

| Premier Sports Travel 8 (eight)-1 Frolesworth United.
What another complete and utter farce of a Sunday morning.
After having been informed we were playing Premier (after having been scheduled to play Oscars), we once again had a bare XI after the usual excuses at 2am following a few beers.
Our assistant manager, who had not played for three years, was in the middle of midfield with our secretary (a rugby player, by all accounts) and effectively one of the lads who just comes to watch was in goal.
After taking the lead early on, it quickly unravelled from there with 30-yarders and crosses flying in. The only reason we actually turned up was to avoid the fine and a point deduction, but were were an absolute shambles and embarrassment today.
No disrespect intended to lower Division sides, but we'd have struggled in Division Four or Five today. Never mind managing to secure our Premier League survival, we'll be lucky to have a team at Christmas at this rate.
