starting all teams in one division is a none starter, i know we wouldn't have joined the alliance in the bottom division, plus, would the genuine teams that are lower division standard jointhe alliance if they knew first season would be full of beatings? its just not plausible, you could force new teams to register all their players two weeks prior to kick off, make them play various standards of existing teams and see how they go . and they can only sign on say two more players before November.

Why do committee members get so defensive?

Probably because people trot out the same thing every summer and we just go over old ground...so its easier to answer in a nutshell rather than flower it up!!

Anyway....isnt this thread for transfer rumours....

so what happens when the club/clubs involved are part of the commitee ?

i will answer that for you, we witnessed it ourselves when nri got put into division 3

had it not been for reem team self destructing and getting caught out, they really could and should have won the division. nri deserve their title but certainly destroy anything and didn't run away with it in my opinion they were in the right division as were all the teams in that section. they will be there or thereabouts in div 2 but don't think they have done anything to justify putting them up to div 1

Kilworth for the Prem next season.
Moshdock making a move for Richard Brown to replace Aaron Preston. They think the move could secure their future in the prem for a few years, Richard Browns botox and just for men will keep him looking young enough to start each week

This is a ridiculous comment! Last season it took a last minute equaliser from the goalkeeper to keep them in the title hunt. Won 1-0 in a cup final against a team a division below and tbh should have lost.
I no longer play for NRI but I was there when we got tore a new one against reem team. The league has done a great job with nri not listening to the hype and bumping them right up these are a cracking group of lads that deserve everything they have achieved. The massive advantage is the consistent squad that turn up week in week out no superstars just a solid group that play well together! Also to mention I also remember being taught a massive lesson from the bullies preseason.
Ok that's 2 league titles in 2 years but let them do this properly and try and compete in div 2 and bring back 3 in 3.
Lot of respect for NRI still and Malc and widds do a great job!

hi as sec of humbo 2000 can i just say i told the league that 2000 were good enough for div 4 or 5 it's not the players fault that we were put in div 7.also as only 5 or 6 players from last seasons squad sign for us i cant see why we get the label"POT HUNTERS".anyone who as played us knows we do no warm up,our warm up is putting the posts up and that is only done by a 1/3 of the players.

Seems to be a successful warm up! We may introduce it next year!

What has a warm up got to do with it? If anything the attitude of 2/3 of your players suggests they think they're too good to help out.

had an approach from Shane @ St. Marks but its been rebuffed unless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he starts to accept that hard tackles are part of the game. Wooley has offered 1 2 1 coaching if interested however

more likely matt rudkin from saff lounge as well as leon thraves, ryan allen and probably dean edwards, looks more and more like sporting highcross everyday
