If I was a manager I wouldn't tell my current set of lads if I was considering bringing in as many as 5 new players cuz the current crop just aren't what's required. Would you?

its true we are after peter heighton a first class forward who will score many goals for us, i also have 3 more in the pipeline, changes need t be made as we have put in sum v.poor performances in our last few games

i can confirm mr piemasterflash that i have been told down my local that the player set to leave will play his last game for you on sunday if he turns up.

I can't see any leaving to be honest as almost all players are either my & waynes very good friends,family or work for me! As for under performance well we were unbeaten in 8 prior to sunday and knocked a div 3,div 1 and one of the favs out of the cups all that with 7 players injured! And now no longer bottom of the league.

players in div 4 who left wigston are luke (fosse), ben , fez and wayne ( sporting)

of which all are happy at present club ( cant say for luke though)

Having seen the Wigston Utd squad, and with the greatest respect, I dont see how they would strengthen the present squad - so as I suspected - some mischief making I think!

Apparently 1 of the players is a keeper, and from what i have heard i get the impression that it is just 1 club that will be raided.

The current set of lads at Wigston are a talented bunch, but are becoming more and more unreliable and the gaffer is getting increasingly frustrated with it. hes upset at having to call upon all his sons just to get a team out on a sunday morning when people let him down.
