seeing as we have a little twitter stalker i might aswell tell you all on here that sam saunt is playing for us on wednesday, he is staying with whitwick compass and at most will sign and play for us when they dont have a game and if we are struggling for a side which hopefully wont happen lol

Haha yeah we asked him last night dan if he would be interested, but I can honestly say up until last night we had no intention of approaching him!! We had news about our keeper last night so our asst manager asked me to see if cole was interested as he used to play with him at gt!! Cole wasn't and said he enjoyed playing on pitch with you boys. I then asked if he could help us out this sunday if you didn't have a game!! Which you do have one!! We won't be trying to persuade him or keep nagging him!! Question was asked he answere, end of rumour haha

Fair enough mate, I am fairly certain he wouldn't leave us unless Advance wanted him.

Sorry mate if it all seemed underhand but that is literally how it happened, when that twitter thing was posted we hadn't even spoke to each other!! Cole will tell you tht himself, I messaged on facebook last night, first time we'd spoke about it!

On another note , QPR's top goal scorer from season 05/06 (we think) Lewis Robinson - Murphy is looking to sign for wigston but he's going to wait until after Sunday's game between Wigston Rangers and QPR to make his final decision

i played alongside murph when i first joined qpr and he was a great lad and if he gets his confidence back he will fit into most teams. think this game will give people an idea how the season will pan out. where is it being played?

Stonehills School I believe. Yeah it should be interesting and will reveal a fair bit about division 5.

i think in the grand scheme of things Newcastle are not in a bad place right now despite Ashley's decisions.

Let me spell out the facts:
Newcastle United having finished 5th last season due to a fantastic scouting system put in place by Ashley (fair enough) spent a net £2m this summer to improve the squad and with Europe coming and with an already thin squad means that Newcastle will be no higher than 8th thus missing out on European football again meaning Ba, Cisse, Tiote, Cabaye, Ben Arfa will all leave because a) Ashley will accept any money for them and b) because they'll want European football, this will leave Newcastle back at the same point as 3 years ago, struggling to survive in the Premiership because Ashley will not spend.

We missed a fantastic opportunity to build on last season and push on again but Ashley is a c**t and put his own interests first, not the clubs, his chuckle caught on camera when 3-0 down against Man Utd summed his attitude and the Wonga deal is the latest nail in the coffin, a total embarrassment to be sponsored by Loan Sharks.

But if he hadnt taken over originally, you would have been in a lot worse position than you are now!

Toon fans once again thinking bigger than they are...
