Rumours 2012-13

We have one of these every years....so what rumours are you hearing...who are you expecting to sign/lose...

i don't know widds, which 5 players have you lot got your eyes on?

I will give you a couple of snippets....one player from the LSL we are interested in, but we are competing with another team in the Alliance for his signature...and then another player that Malc knows....as for the other three...all in good time!!! We need to get a few players in for next season, need a good sized squad to try and compete in division 2/1/prem/blue square!!!
Oh and we are obviously hopeful of getting a certain player from LSL who posts on this forum!!!
Going to be a very busy summer, i know Malc thinks we need 4 or 5 players in....looking forward to opening the chequebook!

best of luck with them. you are very open with your praise of Andy Herbert and have been all season. if Kaffir have any sense they'll keep him away from you lot - one drunken night with the Ilnickis and you wake up the next morning not remembering a thing but having somehow signed an orange form

Haha we can be open, spoke to the kaffir boss about it, was told Andy was expecting interest and doesn't want to leave kaffir. We can be open about it now coz all parties are aware. would like him but not possible. Shame!

and you are lucky if you wake up next to an ilnicki and all they have given you is an orange form!

I do like a player that stands by his mates and his team!

We have got a couple in the pipeline....hopefully a couple returning after a season out and then after this years success with our youth policy, we are hoping to snap up a couple of young guns we know. If we can keep the rest of the squad we should be ok.

We need to strengthen for next season with the prem likely to have wiggy car breakers and crows nest coming in aswell as star and garter and whoever else get promoted its gonna be a very tough league to defend our crown,,, I'd like to have clint gunn there every week if we can persuade him 2 also Adam dyke he's married to my sister so he ain't got a choice haha,, with another couple I'd be hopefull for another good season

Not sure WCB or Crowns Nest are coming over......love to see it but don't think it will happen for next year

A lot of them players left this league to go there, for an easier life.

We will be doing our best to persuade Adam to stay

I no yeh maybe they will have a decision to make we will just have to wait and see I personally don't think they will come over but u never no

I dont think WCB will come over, i have heard them chat about it for about 18 months now....think its just chat. Would be nice to see Prem, Advance, Moshdock, S&G and Car Breakers in the same division....would be very competitive....and the league would be won by the team getting their most consistent 11 out each week, not necessarily the team with the best 11 players.

Not one for Dennis' eyes, but maybe those teams could go over to them, win everything then come back.

Cant see him going anywhere especially after the season moshdock have had and knowing him personally he is a very loyal lad yes he left us but he went to play with his mates and i think that will still be the factor

His mates are at car breakers aswell thgough, half the bloody kirby muxloe team there haha they've told me they were coming over but dennis said the other day there has been no approach which means unless they've already handed there resignation in to lsl they will incur a heavy fine!! I also lsl been telling them to stay as they promised them the league is going to get better!

Word on the street is that Simon Barby (currently of Division 3's MDH Knights) is going to be signing for Harborough Hotshots..... or was it Little Bowden.... or was it Reem Team?

I get so confused by his movements its hard to keep up....

No I know it now he was going to sign for Leicester City. Yep that was it.

On the Aaron Preston issue....we know he has signed on for WCB and we believe it's just to play when we aren't, especially now our season is over. Obviously we are desperate for him to stay....very hard to replace a 100 goal striker! he has said he will...so we will cling on to that!

Lots of Niffy players are leaving to join a new team in the Alliance.

Callum Earls...leaving throops and joining prem sports....not 100% but said he is up for it and dont want to stay at throops

niffy are set to lose alot of players due to two new teams. Its a major blow to be losin the 1st teamers especially. I will be very interested to see what league aylestone are put in. Will be rather peed off if they are put in lower than 2

I hear a lot of the Thurlaston Saturday team are joining Niffy next season
