i know for a fact that this isnt true, stuart verrall does not pay subs and is paid to play for willows.
he told me that if it wasnt for that then he would go somewhere elce.
also its got to a point where the manager even pays for stu to have a go on the card in the pub!

If there is any truth in this rumour, Great Wigston need to be very careful to ensure they are not reported for a number of illegal approaches. Believe me, if a charge is made and proved by the County FA, the £10 transfer fee will be small change in comparison.

Notice of approach is required for players who are members of any club playing on the same day.

does two people in a pub talking and one says i am fed up and the other who happens to be a manager says well come and play for us, constitute an illegal approach.

the conversation has to start somewhere, so a player shows interest, and then the manager has to approach his club the right way

That must warrant an illegal approach then!

its a question of where is the actual approach start point, surely some conversation has to be made between player and potential new team or neither would realise that the other was interested,

then the manager has to put in his notice to approach player

or does he have to tell the players club that he may talk to one of their players if he bumps into him in town that night,

or is an illegal approach when someone goes to a game and says to a player hey mate your good wanna play for us

haha no illegal approaches, man in black ur right, if the player said he woz interested then i wud speak to any club he may play for, and if a player phones me saying they want to leave and sign for me then that is not an illegal approach, i had a call from a player from a team in our division he had played for them once and his team were happy to let him transfer to us in time for the big un against the mighty webbys

I like you're modesty! Can't realy see you being in the frame for the first team job!it will take an old head with a few contacts to turn that place around! The under 8's just sounds like an AC feeder club! Maybe they are looking for fozzi to send over a few experienced players.
