AZ Scorers Andy Bray (2) Shane Birt (2) Shaun Burden Reece Bromley Joe Tailby
Much needed win today, took ten mins or so to get going. Played some good football at times bad weather caused it to get slippery and dead bobbly in the middle of the park. Best of luck to Hood Park Rangers for the rest of the season

| Played against The Good Old Days today, massive improvement in all the lads and in the first half i was pleased with the effort all the lads put in, from the front two tracking back, all the way to the back line who were massively better organised than in previous weeks. Had a few players playing out of position but pleased with the attitude. Good win, comfortable, but TGOD have some good players in there and with a few additions i reckon could improve drastically. Won 5-2. Week off next week, and should have a full squad for the week after, plus i am in talks with a new manager who will really push us on to challenge Sparta |

Phoenix United 4-3 Oadby Athletic (AET)
A late equaliser on 89mins and winner on 119mins secured a very hard fought win against a side who are better than their league results suggest. End to end stuff most of the game with that token ginger guy up front for them being a bit of a handful. That said, 3 wins on the spin and starting to grind out games we would have lost last year.

we were dreadfull today 1-0 in less than a minute all downhill after that, had bare 11 today with players out injured and unwell and others not bothering to turn up, tbh if we had played like we can we would have hammered them, but we were poor for about 70 mins of the game and having no subs really killed, never mind beaumont nxt week and hopefully a totally diffrent performance

| Wrightys XI 2-3 Harrow FC (AET) Dean Summers Jerome Jordan (1st time Volley edge of the box - top corner) Denum Vann (40 yard lob although this increased on the journey home) Just what you need, 120 mins in this weather (and at my age) Much improved performance, managed to pass the ball alot better and actually heard more than 2 or 3 voices. Should have finished it off in normal time, a few point bank headers going wide then a penno miss with about 5-10 mins left. Quality strikes from the 2 youngsters (Deanos weren't bad either), Wrightys were young team and ran throughout much to my displeasure, bring on R2. | |

| Solid start to this years county cup campaign for us today against a strong lbro saints side. They probably edged the first 15 minutes but once we got into our stride we controlled tue game well and fully deserved our win. Now time to get back into the league next week and having stayed unbeaten since the opening day of the season there is a real confidence around the club now. Just hope we can keep it up. |

We simply only had 7 available players signed on today due to injuries, suspensions, holidays and one of the lads mrs thought it'd be a right laugh to pop a kid out in the week!! Does she not know the football season is in full swing!!
It would only be right to put you boys through so i hope the league don't re-arrange the fixture!!

Yeah like you say, not playing as a team yet, with all the injuries etc we havent really had chance....but not been together long as you say...i thought Good Old Days had a few decent players, the Asian lad and the lad with the shaved head both played well and their centre half seemed decent too. Was just pleased to see the lads putting the foot in today |

Nahhh didnt really make himself look owt, the lad he had a scuffle with had no reason to even do owt to spark our lad to kick of, however fairplay to niffy, was a very good hard game!

Hogan Smith Leon Blaber Kieran Rowley Harvey Webb
Not a bad performance from us, when we did get it down looked very dangerous, all 4 goals were good finishes. Fair play to the West End lads pushed us all the way, very surprised they have played 4 lost 4- decent side and will cause a few upsets i reckon. Also mention Brian Morrell who reffed the game superbly, especially in the conditions, with lots of fair slide tackles going in
Good luck to the West End lads for the rest of the season

| Magna 73 3 GT 6
Bit of a nervous start yesterday playing into the wind and rain and Magna took advantage of that early on with a mixture of long balls and quick passing that caught our defence out of position, and through that they broke free and took an early league, there second was a penalty which to me the ref was abit quick to give but I've seen them given and unfortunately for us this was. For the rest of the first half we just defended and tried to play on the break. In the second half again we started slowly and on the back foot with magna crashing one off the bar which turned out to our wake up call, eventually we started to play our game with neat quick passing and plenty of runners showing for the ball which magna couldn't deal with and we brought the game back to 2-2. Although Magna hit straight back from a corner (good header & poor defending) we thought the hard work had been wasted but or boys shown alot of grit and determination and we settled into our game again and picked magna apart to finish with a 3-6 win. Magna seem to have a good young team that will trouble teams this season, and glad our boys got back into there on quick passing style of play let's hope it continues in the league! Can't wait to get back playing and settle that back four down

| Don't forget the best goalline clearance I have ever seen on a Sunday Morning that would have killed the game dead, but you gotta take your chances.
Our defending again has let us down, we can score lots of goals but when you concede 18 in 4 games like we have, you have no chance.
Your a good bunch of lads - the fella in the fluorescent jacket was getting a bit passionate but it was good to see a game that was played in the right spirit.
Good luck in the rest of the competition

| Inter Mivan 1-4 Office Update
More changes for this playing a new back line and keeper worked well for the first hour then when we changed it we fell apart. First goal was very soft and 1-0 down after 5 mins we didn't buckle. Dominated the first half after thier goal but just couldn't score. Second half started slow then when we made a few subs to push for the goal they scored 3 goals on the break. Still had time to hit the bar twice and the post before scoring late on. Overall a much improved performance but despite adding several players to our squad we still need more.
Free week next week very disapointed we haven't been given a game especially as we have already had a free week, any one know how we can get a game?

The lad in question is an absolute a-nus. If thats how he behaves at football i can see him getting into trouble more often. He mewnt thwt tackle when he came on, as id heard him say "wait till I get on" and his action during the game were not in the spirit of the game.
