| I've heard our Quarter-Final with LK United is off...?? Great... another weekend off and at least 16 more games to play this season, we've not had the best of luck in terms of postponements.
EDIT: Heard it's been called off as Winstanley College has called it off.

Decent battle against a hard working friar lane. Special mention goes to the gaffer Collis Smith (CSKA17) for scoring the winner. First ever goal for the club

| Best game of football we (Blaby Sunday) hae played this season. Played Cfa but we went 1-0 up in the first half as then 2-0 up from a beautiful Andy Lapworth strike in the second half. Then Cfa managed to squeeze one in at the near post and then again in the same corner but from outside te box. They hit in a free kick because of a deflection and then one more in the dying minutes as our heads had dropped.
Brilliant game from us though, great passing shooting and communication. Feel we shall be strong next season.
Well played to the Cfa lads. Great attitudes, good team. Occasionally getting on at the ref but who doesn't when your losing. Look forward to the return fixture.

| Sporting Birstall 0-2 Little Bowden Burton Carter
Smash and grab to be honest. We nicked an early goal and defended brilliantly as a unit and restricted Birstall to only one good chance first half. Birstall had a free kick ruled out mid 2nd half as it was indirect and they played it direct so red ruled out. Bagged a late second to seal the win.

| Webbys 2-1 MDH
Well played Webbys, were organised as usual and worked very hard for 90 minutes, we had plenty of chances in the first half and probably should have been out of sight but they kept in it and grabbed a winner mid-way through a scrappy second half, again we had chances late on to sneak it to extra time but a combination of their keeper, last ditch clearences and poor finishing cost us, on the balance we should have got something but fair play to them they made it diffucult and took the chances when they came along, good luck in the semi's and hope they can go all the way!
our goal was Dave Brennan.

| Countersthorpe 2- 4 plough.
Good performance by a improving young countersthorpe team. Very bobbly pitch with what plough struggled to deal with as first touch was bit rusty after no game since mid November which showed, and the young lads was onto them quick. They also won fair share off headers and 50/50 balls. Fair play to them I'm certain they will win by end off season. Still think we had bit more to offer couple off new lads today and our fourth keeper off season settled in well. Nice to have played after six weeks or more off. Hopefully a shorter gap till the next one

The game very nearly didnt go ahead and by the sound of it we were the only ones that wanted to play it. We came in today with a game plan ( first time ever) and it actually worked. We recalled one of the old guard to mark Kris Mort and he did just that and more! Won every header and every battle! We controller from start to finish bar a few moments. Our stand in keeper that normally plays CM made a brilliant save from a global peno at 2-0 .After that though we saw the game out and got a clean sheet. Sam Abdulla bagging 2 against his old club.. Proved why we wanted him so much.
Good game and well reffed.
Scorers: Rav Dhillon Harry Sandhu Sam Abdulla x2 OG.

| The Harrow 1 - Wigston Fields 2
Ed Titley and Mark Allen for Wigston. Game was on and off as ref failed to show. Got in another ref and we completed the game for our first match for ages. We were very rusty early on but we soon got the passing game going which kept opening up Harrow in the first half. Evcentually we scored through the 'oldest man on the field' Ed Titley (first goal of the season...long overdue!!), we then continued to create and miss chances up to half time. In the 2nd half we made a few changes and we seemed to lose our energy and calmness on the ball, after a great save by Wigston keeper at close range it eventually led to goal from a corner as we were at sixes and sevens as the ball came in. Wigston rallied well after seemingly dropping our heads to snatch a goal late on, a quick throw caused havoc for Harrow and Mark Allen stroked the ball in for the winner. An enjoyable game on a boggy pitch and the Harrow lads were a great bunch. Fields back to their winning ways!!

| Countersthorpe 2-4 Plough.
First game for a while and it showed, made really hard work of this one on a very bobbly pitch. still only one team in it though, other than a very soft free kick and a peno countersthorpe created nothing. still too many missed chances from us though and it should of been far more than 4. But 3 more points in the bag so cant say too much. Would like to say well played and good bunch of lads to the countersthorpe players, but other than a couple of them dont think i have played against a team with such a poor attitude to the opposite team or the ref, who i thought had a good game. Alot of growing up needed Boys!!!!!!!!!

| WRFC 2-1 MJR
Brennan, Mitchell
We went 2-0 up in the first half, then defended solidly in the second. We scored a 3rd, benefit of goal line technology would have made it 3-0 and as good as over, Yards over the line ask the keeper! One of the softest penalties I have ever seen got them back into it and we hung on a little at 2-1. Was a decent game, all the best for the season.

All the best for the season anyways :-)

Scorers: Rav Dhillon Harry Sandhu Sam Abdulla x2 OG. That's about how it was. I didn't want to play it, but in all fairness it was the right decision so hats off to Steve Hill for delaying the game for 30 minutes. Cracking save from your keeper for the penalty. I could have hit it harder but it was right in the corner so he did well to get down. Mivan look back to their best today and must be a good bet to win the league.

| Div7 Friar Lane 2-3 CSKA Carnabys 2nds
Made hard work of it today, far from our best, started well but went 1-0 down, then fortunate to go level from a cross, scoring again before half time to go in 2-1. A few nice moves in 2nd half didn't lead to much. Went 3-1 up but friar lane hit back within about a minute. Hanging on for last 10 mins, but think we deserved it, could have put it to bed mid 2nd half, but didn't and imagine friar lane would be frustrated not to have equalised at the end.

Even missing a few of our most influential players today, 1 being top scorer, 1 being the skipper, so on paper could get even better you never know. On the other hand, Fosse City, flying. I like how their victory was classed as 'routine' as well, says it all about who your nearest rivals are.

Cross keys are decent but thought you might nick it They scored after 1 min with a corner then didn't touch the ball again 1st half in which time we managed to miss a Peno, hit the post and miss an open goal! 2nd half and exactly the same thing they score off a corner in first 5 mins then we dominated got a goal and pushed more for the equalizer ad they caught us on the break! Honestly think we were by far the better side but I think we missed too many chances and were a bit complacent at times! They are an experienced side and play to their strengths! We were naive to be fair, some players let us down on the pitch one let us down by being too pissed to turn up and plus we've lost Fitzy to the army now! But that said our 11 today were still a quality 11 and should of beat them
