| Wigston Fields 2 - 2 Friar Lane
Stef Kuzyk (p) Danny Hull (p)
Glad we don't have to play friar again; tough, physical game in the wind, rain and a slippy pitch. Friar went ahead after a quality finish into the top corner from the edge of the area. Fields responded with some efforts and also hit the post. Friar the better side first half and out of the blocks quicker. 1-0 at half time. That's how it's stayed for about 20 minutes until dan McDonald was pushed from a long throw and the ref pointed to the spot. Stef Kuzyk stepped up and slotted home calmly. Wigston pushed but it was friar lane who scored to go in front, with wigston failing to clear a corner and a friar player flicking the ball into the empty net. Wigston pushed and after a friar lane player got sent, a few more getting booked wigston finally found a chance when mark Allen raced into the penalty area to be brought down by the keeper which infuriated friar lane. Pressure on Danny hull who Slotted home calmly. Still unbeaten and glad we got the result even though the performance was poor!

Performance poor was an understatement, I feel we were dreadful and were lucky (who cares!!) to stay unbeaten. Again our defensive display at set pieces was shocking which allowed them their 2nd goal. But as all great sides say.....if your poor and get some form of result its a sign of a good side...LOL!! WE must improve from now on to ensure we are there or there abouts at season end!!

| Wigston Rangers 0 v 3 FC Pochin
Chris Durrance Joe Tailby Kyle Winston
Quality performance from us today with all the goals coming in the 1st half - Duzza scored from about 30 yards, Kyle finished of a brilliant move which he started from right back and Joey with a cool finish. Thought we played some really nice football and could have gone in at half time more goals to the good.
2nd half Wigston had the hill, wind and rain in their favour but we stood firm even though it felt they had 4 up front at times! Don't think many teams will shut out Dan, Leon and Peck this season so well pleased.
Good luck to the Wigston lads and Malc for the rest of the season

| Thurmaston wmp res v fc tumar
Turned up 2day knowing we were gonna b in a tight game, we started off a bit slowly tumar had a few half chances but nothing troubling stand in keeper chris harrup, we had a good couple of chances if it wernt 4 there keeper big old unit, jamie maher hit a shot he saved it fell straight bk 2 maher 4 him someone got his body in the way, bucko missed a great chance wiv a rare free header from a corner to go in 0 - 0 at ht, i changed it round brought on sean daisley whos been a bit woeful last few games and soon showed he dosnt wanna b on the bench, again we had a couple of half chances, again our goalie not having 2 make a save just catching it out the air, he did drop one but got away wiv it, there goalie pulled everything out the air, always felt there was a goal in it and we said it was gonna b a scrappy one, we had a throw in 15 yrds from the corner flag it got launched in the box well as far as fieldy cld throw it, they got it clear to andy champman who put a lovley pass in2 ross adams who beat the offside trap 4 the first and last time we got one on one wiv there unit of a keeper, ross who had players square just hit it hard and low the goalie fumbled it through his legs for it 2 bounce on the line only 4 sean daisley 2 follow up and put in2 a empty net, cue the cheers and sighs of relief,
Well happy 2 get a double over tumar who will take points off the top teams

| White horse 1-8 sue castle
John Unwin
Well where do I start lol we went one up through some decent play and a good finish by runners and we should have made it 2 after a good through ball was well controlled but the ball just didn't fall right and the shot went over. They went down the other end and we gave away a soft free kick which was struck home neatly we had a few note chances to make it 2-1 going into the break but it just want happening for us although I thought we deserved a lead as I thought we were the better team. Into the second half and well we were the victims of our own rubbish (to put it nicely) play we for some reason forgot how to play football and were duely punished to say we were dogsh*t us an understatement you can't afford to give a team of that quality time and they just picked us apart and were queuing up to score. We need to have a look at oursefls after today's performance as its just not good enough. Take nothing away from sue castle they are a good team and a great bunch of lads and from all of us at white horse wish them all the best in the next round and in the league. Also must mention the ref thought he had a great game not that he had many decisions to make as it was a well fought fair game but the ones he did make we right and well explained tip top. On to next week hopefully we improve on todays performance.

| A.F.C Royal Oak 4-2 LCAC Scorers Daniel Maxwell (pen) Chris Dexter Jason Oliver Simon Herbert
Having a handful of key players M.I.A this morning including Mr Love & Mr Doyle, which could of been key losses, only to find us having 16 lads show up showing good strength in depth. We had a little trouble getting the opposition to find the pitch but eventually they trudged over and we got under way. The conditions like the majority of the games were not ideal and we struggled to cope the first 15 mins not getting the ball down, but we opened them up a couple of times and still showed a threat. Then LCAC number 6 hit an absolute corker of a goal into the top corner to send the Afghans delirious. They then showed how immature and cocky they were telling us how "S**t" we were. But we decided to let our football do the talking. We rolled up our sleeves and played our way back into the game. LCAC were not happy with any tackle we put in constantly berrating the ref and telling him to get his red cards out. Especially a guy on the sideline who Mr Ogle had to threaten to send off the park a number of times. Lcac were very happy to put the boot into our lads though which actually led to our equaliser. Daniel Maxwell found himself on the inside left position and was taken out very late. Lcac were not happy yet again but after much debate Danny Maxwell stepped up to convert the penalty with ease.
We went into the break 1-1 and possession wise was probably fair but we managed to carve out more chances. Lcac only the 1. Mr Ogle was then confronted again by supporters and there centre back (4) who was not happy about being booked after hacking down our attacker. The ref managed to calm them down to an extent but left Lcac with no linesman, so I think they must of grabbed a stranger to do the job for all the good he was. He ended up flagging for our players running with the ball in the middle of the park for some reason.
So the second half got under way and we came out knowing that the opposition were just going to be their own downfall amd to just carry on with our own game. Jason Oliver sent over a corner and Chris Dexter burried a header into the top corner keeping up his impressive form infront of goal. Jay Oliver had been pushed up a position and was causing Lcac all sort of problems down the wing and soon found himself in space to bury a shot past the keeper with ease. We were in firm control and the Lcac players srarted asking a couple of lads what division we were in, when they was told we were in the division below they started laughing. Not sure they get the league structure in all honesty :Z
Simon Herbert then added a 4th with a speculative cross come shot which Dexter went for but could not reach and found itself nestling inside the bottom corner. Lcac then hit a fortunate 2nd which bounced over our hapless keeper.
But it was game over and job done. Mr Ogle then had to deal with some abuse from Lcac but he kept his composure. A top performance from Bob today who did extremely well to keep it 11vs11. I can think of a few refs who would not of been quite so calm.
I really dont know if Lcac have given any other refs or teams any problems but I thought their behaviour was unacceptable and can see them receiving many a fine from the F.A if they carry on the same way.
Good weekend for us seeing us make it to the second round in what looks like a very hard cup. We will do our best and try to get as far as possible. Also with Fc Tumar losing today we sit on top of the table with a game or two in hand. Aylestone next week :)look forward to it

Yeah in the past we would of got ourselves mixed up with it but we're abit more wiser these days and just left them to it! Fair play to Bob Ogle who has his critics but was very fair and down the line. Also some of our lads were not happy about the opposition using the race card. Not pleasant at all! Yeah made up for you lads! You are not out of the race by no means!! Sure you will climb that table no problem now! Was very impressed with a few young refs last season and hope to get them again this time round

| Fc Azzurri 17 v 2 north kilworth
Don't really know what to say about this to be fair ! I think north kilworth were missing a few which didn't help them! We were lethal in front of goal taking almost every chance we created. It was 9-0 at half time which is when our keeper who to say was bored an cold is maybe an understatement swapped with Louis finney-neckles to go right wing with Louis taking the gloves!! Rich goes onto to score 2 goals one of which was direct from a corner!! Louis wasn't happy that rich got more goals than him and that he conceded 2 when rich had kept a clean sheet !! We played some very good football at times and was an enjoyable game to watch!! Also nice to be at our new home ground, felt like a proper home game!
Our goal scorers were Rikki bates 7, Ryan Allen 4, rich Edwards 2, Luke day 2, Louis finney-neckles , Danny Gallagher!
Fair play to kilworth aswell they kept plugging on and actually played some good football!! There 2nd goal was probably one of the best of the game! Good set of lads down there and I wish them all the best for the season

| St Marks 0-3 Star n Garter
Referee couldn't get to our ground due to marathon, So yours truly had to referee .
I have to say the score line doesn't reflect the game, Wasn't a 3 nil game at all . They had to work damn hard to get it.
It was end to end stuff , both sides playing some good football .... at 1-0 down we hit the post , also we missed a sitter on the line (easier to score ) lol ....maybe if any of those two had gone in might have been a different outcome .
But with us pushing for equalizer star hit us on counter attack. and made it 2-0, and in last min scored number 3.
and want to say if my boys play like that every week from now on we will be in the mix come the end of the season
But just want to say star deserved their victory in the end , and wish them good luck for rest of the season

| United Revolution 7-4 Fairfield Athletic Good to have a home game (finally the cricket has finished!). End to end stuff some cracking goals. Fairfield definitely improved from 6 weeks ago playing some decent football. Impressed with us though we stuck to our game plan and good to see the new signings delivering the goods! Actually having a 14 man squad was a refreshing change
Luke Moore 4 Mark Brennan 2 Kieran Rowley
Onto next week in the Billy Walton. Good luck to the Fairfield boys (and girls) great set of lads and like I say have definitely improved and will surprise a few teams

| I think the less said about Q.P.R performance in the final 5 mins the better lol. It was truely shocking but fair credit to NKSR they took their 1st 2 goals very well then the NKSR striker did his best " swan lake" impression to con the ref into giving a penalty ( just joking ) with what could have only been 5 seconds left on the clock. I felt the better side on the day went through to the next round but it shows what momentum can do. Certainly sets it up for our 2 league games whenever they are. Top set of lads aswell plenty of friendly banter - timmy mallet wrote:

cracking game played in the right spirit, wigston are a sound bunch of lads we came out of the blocks really quickly and a 25 yard thunderbolt from chris durrance put us one up and a super team goal started by kyle winston at right back and ending with the same player slotting past the keeper from just inside the box after half a dozen passes made it 2-0.wigston then broke quickly with dan mitchell crossing from the left to leon coleman who's shot hit the post and spun back across the goalmouth it could have gone anywhere but we managed to clear it,if that had gone in it would have given wigston a major boost before half time.we then went three up with another well worked move with joe(i've got 3 in 2 i should be centre forward)tailby converting from 2yds second half wigston came at us hard and had lots of possession as we tired slightly but everyone put in a shift today and the midfield and back four worked their socks off to limit the divisions highest scorers to very few chances and our keeper danny dealing with everything that did get through best of luck to malc and dan for the rest of the season and look forward to the return game I'm still gutted about our first half performence yesterday, gobsmacked on how poor we were, actually that's probably an injustice to how well you boys played, came out the blocks and caught us napping and we were 2-0 down after about 5 minutes and never really recovered. Think we could still be playing now and not score, nothing happened at all. Although I am gutted about yesterday I can't complain too much as I've been nothing but impressed by the lads, they have given everything so far but yesterday was just one of those games, can't wait to get to next sunday's game to get that out the system, hoping for a backlash. Well done to Pochin and Congratulations on winning the league already, there is not a chance in hell anyone will even get a draw against you on that showing in our league, different gravy. Blackie, for an OLD GIT you marshalled your defence superbly, well done mate, also, Fantastic goal from Chris, incredible hit. Good luck for the rest of the season and I can't wait to face you boyz again to get revenge. Blackie at the back.... interesting nothing interesting denty he just can't run around in midfield anymore Might see if i can find a team in your div then lol

Good luck to the Wigston lads and Malc for the rest of the season You beat and kept a clean sheet against a div1 team give yourself a pat on the back mate

| Strange to see Lcac putting Najib Hamid as the goal scorer of both there goals yesterday. They were definitely scored by two different players | |

| Proper cup game against North Kilworth.
3-0 up and cruising ... 10 minutes later and the last kick of the game makes it 3-3.
A game that previous QPR sides would have gone on to lose.
