| I think played you off the park all game in an over statement to be honest. We just took our chances and you didnt. The 2 i'll say experienced players in the middle played the ball really well and controlled the game at times. Looked to be a close game until fitness kicked in and we had that little extra. Good game, I enjoyed it | |

Monsell never really looked like missing a chance against a bare Oakfield team. With solid defence and prolific finishing they have to have a chance in division 3.

| Seaton 4 - 9 SPARTA MOSHDOCK
A good early pre-season run out on a very hot day. Some sloppy defending and good finishing gave Seaton some early goals but we always felt in control and were knocking the ball around nicely. We missed a few chances, but overall was a good result. Seaton are a good side and if they can become more consistent, they should more than hold their own in Div 2.
Our three new signings; Ash Allen, Mason Hirst and Jake Wain all played their part and will be excellent additions to our squad.

missed the game as I was on me hols but all ive heard is we scored a screamer and the goalie was on a course on how to kill cows so we had a player in goal. think they will able to cope in 4 ,when we played them in a friendly during last season they had a good midfield and have probably built on that so could be a shock team to look out for

Another good run out and performance today. Fosse were missing a couple of players, but in all honesty they didn't really get going. We played some excellent football and it was good to have Lee Tyers back plus Mark Graham making his debut to add to the team from last week.

Marcus Stevenson
As last minute Marcus Stevenson header from a mark Allen corner earned the draw for us today. Both teams would have thought they should have won. First half was quite slow with not many openings. We had a few chances but was harrow who took the lead after we failed to clear our lines and there player slotted home into the corner from the edge of the area. Was a good finish. Second half we battled and had chance after chance but just couldn't score until the last minute. Was a good game and keeps us ticking over which match practice and sharpness

Good game, Blaby stormed to a first half 5-1 lead only for the second half to have a dreadful 13 minutes where we conceded 4 goals. We did well though and the result finished with us winning 7-6.
Was good to have a good run out. Now just need to organise a friendly for next Sunday.

First half we batterd them, they didn't have one shot, we just kept missing simple chances.
Second half started the same, Sporting came into it mid way through second half and took 1-0 lead. We scored twice in the last 10mins (Jack D and Shaun)
We only had 12 players today so didn't have a full squad, we should have 4 new signings come the start of the season. Hopefully we can challenge for promotion.

A good win for us in our first pre-season friendly. Largely the same side that we finished last season with, with a couple of new additions including a new manager as Gaz is sticking to being secretary and Scott just wants to spectate this season. The new gaffer's ideas and methods seem to have worked wonders already, but of course time will tell in the longer term.
Has to be said, Niffy had a good bunch of lads, and probably should have gotten on the scoresheet, just lacked composure. Their number 11 was rapid and constantly worked our defenders so all in all a good run out.

First of all I think credit where credits due to Dukla for agreeing to play us as so many sides have been reluctant to, and I know a few other prem teams have struggled with the same thing!! I think Dukla will probably go onto win div 6 after seeing some of the football they played today.
I actually think Dukla did really well today and their lads should take a lot out of today's game, they played some good stuff and worked really hard I just think our quality shone through Our goals coming from Daniel bull,Liam read,Danny Gallagher,Leon Thraves,Ryan Allen,Kieron Edwards, tony Fitzpatrick , Ashleigh james! Can't remember who else or How many they got !

| Fosse 0 - 7 Moshdock Was always gonna be a tough game for us, first game back, plus the quality that Moshdock have in their squad. We were missing 2 or 3 key players and were off the pace for most of the game. The additions Moshdock have made should make them a real threat in the Premiership this season. Quality all the way through the team. It's a shame we couldn't make more of a game of it today but Moshdock were always going to be right up for it, bit of a cup final for them in truth | |

| Syston Rangers 6-2 A.F.C Royal Oak
First game back today and you could tell. Turned up with only 7 players meaning I had to jump in the sticks (1st game in goal for 10 years) & our manager had to do a full 90. Managed to drag a 10th lad down who id never seen play. So played the 90 with 10 and didnt do too bad in all fairness. Not sure if it was systons first or reserve team but could tell they could play a bit. All credit to Syston who saw we were struggling for numbers and footed most of the bill which was pretty sound of them. Good bunch of lads who played some decent stuff but perhaps over did it in the final third. Our lads did as well as could be expected with 10 men and played some decent stuff ourselves in patches. Hopefully manage to get a few lads coming down from next week as looking bare at the moment!

It was a shame really as after our last couple of meetings we thought you'd give us a good test in pre-season, wasn't to be though.

| Apologies for not being up to the standard you desired! The 3 we were missing are probably our 3 best players. Dean is an absolute monster in midfield, Nath Wllliams is our only real goal threat and there's not many around that hold the ball up as well as Bayliss. Add those 3 and I'm confident we could have kept the gap to around 3. All the best for the season. Hopefully bump into you again. | |

| Just a shame it was such an easy run out. If you want to play the we were missing players card that's fine, but so were we. 2 of the 3 we were missing played almost every game for us last season so are definitely important players. That's Sunday football for you, but just shows we can cope better with missing a few vital players.
Anyhow, I'm sure you'll have another great season (if you get your full side out of course) and should do very well in Div 1. Good luck and hope it goes well.

| Hey. Lets not get tetchy! Not sure what's wrong with saying it would have been closer if we were at full strength! If you have 2 more players that would improve the team we faced yesterday then you really do have an outstanding squad and should be expecting silverware this season. I think we will struggle this year, we have a weaker squad than last season and Division 1 can't be as weak (aside from Azzurri & Thurmaston) as last year. Hopefully you draw us in a cup and you can exorcise your demons with us in a competitive game. Failing that, we can just share glass of rosé in the Winchester.
