Don't think we r placed too low I have faith in the commitee and there decisions we just happened to play extremely well today it happens too all teams when everyone gels nice in one match n u win big but I will take all opinions on board as I am not a runner cheers

What have monsell reserves other friendly results been like? Have they been consistently good?

Spot on Paulo, we were disappointing mate.

We had 20 quality lads but it just didn't happen for us today. Think Mr Mitchell will admit we were the better team but no excuses - they took their chances well

yeah he looked like he had especially when he missed 2 sitters   
but it was his first game for 8 months and by his own addmission he needs to get his fitness and sharpness back. but he is quality

I thought the game against yourselves was 6 of one and half a dozen of the other. I enjoyed the game. The game against Pukka pies their were two bad tackles and i am first to admit that, also their were only two yellow cards. Just because paulo has left does not mean we have turned into a dirty team. Everyone can miss time a challenge at the end of the day it is Sunday morning football you will get this.

I think we were lucky to come away with the win yesterday. Missing a few key players and half our squad was hanging. Pochin scored an absolute belter but other than that I reckon a few shooting sessions are in order! We looked dangerous on the counter but Pochin were the better team, can't see us being as lucky the next time we face them. Best of luck for the season anyway fellas.

Sure it has nothing to do with me, but if you miss time against me next week MJR legend I will come after you ;-) lmao

2 wins in 2 days is not a bad way to start pre-season. We played some decent stuff.
Our pre-season form rarely translates to the league but heres hoping this years different.

Another good run out v a good Phoenix set up. But a game in which all the substitution's caused a collapse in structure on the pitch, phoenix started the better with our keeper producing some fine saves to keep it nil nil, then against the run of play we scored with a looping header which was a small springboard for us to have some good possession and start to get in behind phoenix. Both teams were still creating chances, phoenix still with the better chances but again we hit them on a break and scored to go 2 up at the break. A couple of minutes into the 2nd half we were 3 up and looked to be doing ok, we changed the players to give all a run out and it back fired in dramatic fashion, some players not good enough, some not interested which gave phoenix the momentum they needed and boy did they take us to the cleaners. 4 goals coming from 2 pens and 2 direct free kicks on the edge of the box. The other 2 coming from some very good football from phoenix. Last nights game will be the last we use players on trial, with 3 friendlies left its time to go with our strongest starting line up and see what happens before season kick off. I also think phoenix will do very well in div 3 and i wish them all the best for a great season.
