Pants again, we just keep giving up after been in a winning position. Dukla 4-4 Buddha fc from lsl was a poor result considering we should have had about 10 in the first half. What a joke Webbys are! They have never been great but i think they are worse than ever! They had no fight in them at all, and with the mardy fat lad lad and the little dwarf in defence i cant see them doing much this season, jamie aint a shadow of his old self in defence either, on a plus side though, the kid who scored there first goal was a good player..just nobody decent around him, its a sorry state for webbys when they are relying on bainesy to be there star man, great player in his day but way way past his best since he left prem!

Pukka pies 2-5 Sporting birstall, birstall should of had double figures, but for a good performance from pukka's keeper.

had 10 players out today and had to ask players mates to turn up to scrape 12 together
including a young lad in goal,so overall pleased with the result
the plough never gave up and have some decent players no moaning no bad tackles just great banter

I think Malc's looking at bringing in 3 or so lads. But I wouldn't be expecting a major overhaul, will be a similar team that played against you. We are looking forward to the season, we expect to be very competitive under Malc's guidance.

judging by your last result he's got you back up front where you should be

Yeah he has put me back up top and I have 5 in 2. We will see how it goes. I was unable to play there for the bulk of last season due to so many players being unavailable for so long. Add that to my 3 match suspension and I think I only played 6 or 7 games up top.

Solid performance from Q.P.R different sort a test to previous pre season matches but still a work in progress with shape & organisation  but on a positive clean sheet & 5 goals :-)

Went to watch pukka pies v birstall i left early as neither side could put 3 passes together a very poor game of football, fair play to pukka they battled hard but iam disapointed in birstall i cant see why the hype is about to be honest whats happened to jack withers looks a shadow of the player he was a st marks

in all seriousness good players play better in good teams and vice versa I suppose:?: 

Haha totally agree mate so much easier wen u have good players around you, when you have poor players around you it brings you down and frustration etc kicks in

thats why players usually from higher divisions playing in 6/7 don't always come off
