2 b honest pukka, the first team want bucko and also a new division 1 side, but hes loyal and staying wiv me 4 now, so he must b a good makeshift defender, he cn play anywhere although never seen him goal, so yeah i think he wld walk in any side

Don't know about Pukka as a team but I do know about Bucko as a player...

...quality centre half and we were unlucky not to have his services last season.

I agree with the above, would warrant a start in many teams.

TTFN.

Haha Bucko, not like you to make enemies, I know that 3 of the defence weren't playing for Birstall that night, as for Pukkas comments on Bucko not able to play, I agree with Polingtons comments, not many teams he wouldn't walk into

Not too bad Lance, managed to retain and add to the squad this year, few key lads out pre-season but will be ready come 1st September.

Played some Alliance teams so got a good feel of what needs to be done etc...

Promoted so ready to meet a few new one's come County Cup time ;-)

How are Thurmo shaping up?

Monsell res 3-2 fccol

Monsell res defo not pot hunting and in the right division. Theyve got some gd players and should do alright but i still dnt know how we didnt win this one with about 5 one on ones missed. Think when we have all our players there 1st game of the season the result could be the other way round. All the best to monsell tho as they have had some stick pre-season and rli its not justified from what i just seen. There lino's are very flag happy tho so teams will need to be aware of that.

Birstall only had 11 players today and missing a few main players, but proud of the players today and all gave 150%, was a good workout for the whole team. Must say Blaby are a great bunch of lads and all the best for the season, cheers Ian.

Scorers;
Herbert (2)
Gilbert
Haggerty
Edgar
Maynard

Bare 11 this week which has about killed me off! Pretty clinical infront of goal considering the players we were missing! Very good work out and another 90 in the bank! Good bunch at syston and just need a bit of confidence
