FC Hob away in Loughborough for us, played them last season in the Intermediate cup and it took penalties to get us through. Hopefully a much smoother passage this time round!!

Interesting to see that out of 10 teams to participate in the First round of the Premier Cup, 6 of them are Alliance teams

How do they work out who gets byes as I think its very unfair that some clubs have to play one more game than others to get to a final

Another disappointing draw for us, a 50-mile round trip to face Swannington FC in Coalville. Anyone have any information on these? They're top of the Charnwood Division Two with 18 points from eight games so far.

Seeing out the season and retaining our Premier Division status is our main priority this year, so we have very little interest in cup competitions.

Particularly, the farcical Arthur Moore Cup, which has seen us drawn against four fellow top-flight clubs and with little chance of progression serves only to fill up our fixture schedule and more importantly, add an unnecessary financial burden on our players for pitch and referee fees.

i do think some form of seeding in the Arthur Moore could be good. two prem teams per group or similar

By the way you have won 2 of 3 in the Prem so why do you think you can not compete??

I agree with that Widds but how often would the 2 Prem teams just stroll through?? At least with this a Div 1 side has a chance to get to the semi finals and you never know in a one off game, you could get to the final, look at Huncote last season (I know it was a different cup)

I can confirm that pretty much the old Scraptoft Garage team play for them and have currently won 2 from 2 and scored 26 goals!!!

i can confirm its not scrappy garage . only ash and luke day and wes gibson has signed play for them they play on next pitch to us and hoskins are good friends off all addis they are good but lost last week to st matthews dy... lsl is poor

also would like to mention there is a team in lsl div 3 called wyvern watch out for these few from hoskins last year have set up a team ben and tom wickins 2 quality lads who know others

yeah agree, i would just like a game against advance or prem sports!

Some off prem teams face a 50 mile trip just to play against use lol just have to go Saturday night lol

Glad we're at home, no long travelling. Anyone know anythig about E M Rangers reserves?

EMR's first team were decent last season, and their reserves are only newly started. Although their first team is half decent, they spent most of their time moaning.

Last season they were incredibly weak down their left hand side, so if you could get the ball out to your right winger (probably your best player from our experience) then you should be fine.

They're a big side though so expect to be knocked about a bit.

Ok cheers for that. Do you know what league they play in? I know nothing about any teams outside the alliance league I'm afraid ha ha

they play in the Leicester Sunday League, think they've had a fairly decent start to their season, so it will be interesting to see how they fair against you.

oadby r a gud side,very big and powerful side and very gud going forward,quite well organised too stop there midfield from playing is the key mate

Ok thanks for the information. Not too bothered about the county cup so will rotate and not expecting to win. We'll just try and play football and if they want to get dirty or physical they can and we'll deal with it. Good luck for your game
