Simon Herbert (oak) Score doesnt really tell the story of the game. Niffy started well scoring when they were slightly on top with a little help from our keeper for the second. After this we woke up and bossed the game for the.next 70min. We were missing sum key players but cant fault the lads who we drafted in. All in all a good work out on a big big pitch. Niffy got some quality especially going forward. Rutter looked very lively, just a shame he kudnt work out the outside rule. Mifriend for Niffy got some creativity n shud do well in the coming season Have to agree with most of the above, we struggled in midfield and got overrun too easily with certain players not there yesterday, up front we looked toothless without Jay Smith. Was overall a good run out for the lads and opened my eyes to a few players. Royal Oak look strong and should definitely upset some teams in Div 6 this season with a possible top 3 finish. Cheers for the game!!

Very disappointing performance from us considering we had pretty much a full strength team out, had some quality players join us this season but looks like the squad might take a while to gel. Manager will have a difficult job picking a squad every week with all the players we have.
Scrappy game really and credit to (an understrength) Magna who battled hard and defended really well. Expect them to surprise a few this season. All goals were very sloppy, and the only moment of real quality in the match came when I smashed over the bar from a yard out.
Cheers for the game and good luck for the season Magna. Top lads.

| i must admit i feared the worse when i arrived wit 12 lads- two hadnt played for a while and saw Fosse had about 17 to choose from and looked extremely strong. I expect them to do very well this season. Think both teams will be disappointed with their performances, fosse definitely playing the better football. We competed well, disappointed to gift Fosse two goals but will get better as we gel. Thanks to Jamie and his boys always a competitive fair game- will keep an eye out for their results next season. A good test for us. I hope to suprise a few especially as we are tipped to be relegation contenders! And thanks Malc looking forward to the Uplands rivalry this year- will be two good game | |

TO be honest should've been 5 or 6 but a win and clean sheet are always welcome I would be dissapointed with only 2 against some trees. Unless of course you were playing Forest. After beating some trees we played this sunday against Global Athletic. Ended up Dukla 5 v 2 Global. They were a good team with two big target men who worked well together plus their keeper has a monster kick on him. They should do well in their division this year

At 3-1 down we missed 2 good chances to get back into it, but we flagged badly in the last 20 minutes. Had 5 players missing or in Poland, but take nothing away from your lads, they won fair and square and deserved the win. Our stand in right back dislocated his shoulder 10 minutes from time. I'm a bit squeamish at needles and had to look away when they were pumping morphine into him, then felt even worse when the took the scissors to his footall shirt! Top marks to the ambulance service who were on the scene within 10 minutes and were brilliant

Enjoyed the game today, thought we competed well with a depleted team especially in the first half. Lost our way abit in the 2nd, when Magna injected the extra pace into their attack which we couldn't deal with. Good set of lads at Magna and a decent runout for everyone I think. Good luck for the season. Fosse Scorers: Ryan Bayliss (pen). Luke Goddard.

Good game for us, back up to near enuff full strength, played some good stuff first half bt fond ourselves 1-0 down at half time.
Came out 2nd half n were a lot better. Think the tired legs of the Wigston lads took its toll. Playing in the morning before probly didn't help, but the game was played in the right spirit. All the best to wigston for the season

Terrible game all the way through, with 8 players missing we had to get players to stand in. We also had a player dislocate his shoulder and I've never seen anyone POP it back into place himself. Ouch!!
All in all we had loads and loads of chances and had a goal disallowed after it was given. We struggled like hell without some keys players. Inter mivan have come on a long way since last season and to be honest they wanted it more despite only testing our keeper once.
Wish them all the best with the season.
