How did it go? - disappointed or encouraged

half time was humbo 2-0 up against ac wigston thought wigston looked the better side but a gifford strike and a free kick looked to have put humbo in the driving seat.also caught a few minutes of bullsheads friendly with gaunt, bullshead looked very lively going forward and may trouble a few sides if they can put this line up out regularly.

its all about results giff and a clean sheet not a bad sunday morning then, but heard ac wigston wer better team

chris eames and the ilnickis are far too good for division 4, you should p*ss it

I'd probably agree with Mr Hoskins, don't think 3-0 reflected the game.

Giff scored a good goal and the free kick should of been stopped, we playe well, but still happy with it at the end of the day.

we were a makeshift team today to be fair i personally hae ligament damage to me left foot and i dont have a right its all about taking chances we could of had 7 or 8 but so could u boys if ya got ya shots on target although are new keeper is quality

thought ac knocked it about better but were toothless up front good finish from you gifford ...bad foot aye

Yeah I agree could been a high score for either side. We missed our new striker but should of finished the chances.

Agreed, although to suggest it was awful is flattering, was actually worse than that.

Quality hatrick from Tom, 1 from Thomas and a quality finish from Damo, it's all about the 3 points at the end of the day and we know we can't play any worse. There wasn't alot to choose between the sides, cheers to EFC.

We at West End Ress (Div 6) drew 3-3 with Victoria Park Rangers last week, not a bad side but would of thought you would of beat them.

Pre season Friendly

Countesthorpe Royals 4-3 Magna 73 Rangers

Both sides missing players, we had our entire first choice back 4 plus keeper out but the replacements were of good enough standard.

We went 1-0 up through Kirk Holland but Royals equalised from a Joel Mason penalty.

We then dominated and were 3-1 up and playing well but then Royals hit us with 2 goals in a 3 minute spell (including another penalty) and we were finished.

Royals got the winner and probably deserved it.

Good result considering we had 5 players missing, didn't think much to Thurmaston especially when they went 2-1 down they resorted to playing dirty. If its the same team that dropped out of the Alliance prem then I can see why as they were no where near Alliance standard and belong back in the Sunday league.

sunbury 2-0 up at half time there 1st goal free head from a corner and there 2nd was a cross come shoot in off the post 2nd half we started to pass the ball around gave a pen away and it was saved then we won a pen and put it away the went 3-2 up before sunbury pull it back to 3-3 b4 talbot winner for a 4-3 looking 4ward to weds 1st league vs the wheel

Its not the same team mate, you played the old Syston RBL who changed to Thurmaston because of sponsorship and pitch relocation, the old Thurmaston WMC went there separate ways and I believe several are now with FC Hoskins.

thanks for the compliment hope we can hold our own and ill be happy missed a key player today our centre back so should be a bit better defensively next week (i hope) bullshead 5-2 john o gaunt

Started well for us 1-0 up at half time, lost our way a little in the second half, credit to Sporting never stopped battling and deserved the draw.

Wont mention the muck about penalty shoot-out after, someone crap fluffed his penalty

All the best for the season to AFC Sporting, good game played in a good spirit (apart from when your skipper wanted our centre half sent off )

Should have won, few on the sides said the same (neutrals) but taking nothing away from them.
