Great performance from Polska as we were 1-0 down after 16 seconds and 2-0 after 7 minutes yet 2-2 at half time. 16 new faces and rebuilding of the club continues, and played our part in a good game. Bulls Head looked like Terratruck in all but name and a good bunch of lads and well reffed

but will they see the season out unlike terratruck ?

KS Polska 2 v 4 Leicester Academicals

Good game today, proper pre-season friendly. No grief, just a good game. Polska obviously in transition have got some old classic Polska lads and a lot of new boys. They should do OK in Div 2. We had the bare 11 today but it was a good 11 and this was a good result. Ran out of steam near the end but hit the woodwork 3 times and the Polska second half 'keeper had an absolute blinder, particularly from my bottom corner header! Hopefully got a few more new signings on the cards and should more than hold our own in Div 1. Need a permanent 'keeper though!

Many thanks to Mark for reffing, very much appreciated and did very well without linesman.

Not our most fluid performance were 3-1 up at one stage but Sportsman deserved something out the game, the slope took its toll on the end.

Thanks to Mark and his lads for the friendly, good set and a good run out for any team i reckon! hope you boys have a good season.

Possibly the last trot out for the boys before the season saw the mighty Tez Frazer take the helm and steer the side to victory.
Goals from Lee Stevens and Dave Peters as well as Lee Perry converting from the spot saw the Knights go 4 from 4 in form they hopefully use to mount a seriuos challenge in the league this year.

Great first win for the new look Polska

2-0 up at half time, thought we would be up against it second half kicking uphill (big bias on that Kilworth pitch) but went on to score another 2.

Introduced a quality keeper in the 2nd half on Sunday against Accies who broke his ankle Sunday night, his replacement last night was even better.

18 new players signed over the summer, and 7 days ago most hadn't played in the same side in a proper game before. Polish back four with a Polish keeper for the last 30 minutes, everyone worked hard and a deserved win. Good luck to White Lion for the season.
