hi guys knighon park fc have been placed in div 6 was hoping for div 7 as have very young team but on reflection i think the leagues are fair the only objections i would say are i dont think wigston feilds and wigston plough rovers are good enough for where there place and monsell fc are ambitious which is great too see that prem is maybe a step too far at this stage of development having played against them i rang gordon and his points i think were valid cheers

Triple promotion for us which is disappointing but think other teams have more arguement than us (Enness & Thurmaston)
Very harsh on the Thurmaston sides especially with Moshdock having their case listened to which now more than likely sees Thurmaston reserves drop out leaving us with 10 teams.
Saw enough of Huncote last season to think theyd of definitely done a job in the same division as us. Good team!

Tip for division 5 - Friar Lane! Heard a few of their possible signings and could have a very good season

Friar lane are a good side, reckon they'll do well again this season. Especially if they build on what they have already. By far the best team we played last season. Think we (Wigston fields) will just approach it like everyone else will, if we have a strong team on the day then we can give most teams a game. Depends what happens on the morning really. Don't think division 5 will be too high for us considering the teams in there; 5 teams from mid table division 6, suecastle, vale and friar lane who were around us last season, trinderbox who were bottom end of division 5 and a couple of new teams. Heard aberdale galacticos have a good team and could do well

Thanks hairy iam glad you can see the point where moshdock got listened too but we didnt but then again iam not surprised the league have there favourates and always will they dont like us but hey ho...hope your boys do well i think u will u play some good stuff as for our reses.....i dont know wpts gona happen but there team will be weaker if they carry on

I fully understand your frustrations, but trust me, we are far from 'League Favourites'. They've done plenty of things to us that we've argued/disagreed with that haven't changed.

The 2 teams that have made the biggest steps are monsell wmc and phoenix utd. Ive had a little moan but we're going for it and not moaning like little girls. You all need to get over it, its a game of football every week no matter who the opposition are. If you struggle this season then you'll be in a lower division next season. If you do well in your division then you'll be playing higher next season. Simples....

Well your wrong about if teams struggle this season will be in lower league next season....we finished bottom of prem last year but we are in the prem again.....not rocket science pal

I was present at both the initial and special constitution meetings. Nobody, at either of them, was fully aware of the position at Thurmaston, there were a few conflicting stories that were shared. Without the full story what are supposed to.do? We always listen to what clubs have to say and try to ensure competitive football for all.

We've just played Monsell wasps who are in division 1 leicester sunday league and they destroyed us beating us 7-1 in the end. Premier for us?

Going by that result no jumping 3 divs for u lot is harsh iam just trying to get my point across for thurmaston

I see your point mate. I'm pretty sure we'll be having a similar season to what you just had. Only this time the league can do the right thing by moving us down to prevent the same happening again.

Can you think of 10/11/12 teams are better than you?

I reckon Monsell will be competitive in that Premiership. Pretty sure there'll be a maximum of 5 teams in that league that are genuine Premier quality. Unless there's a big influx of players. Teams like Magna and Webby's would also hold their own in my opinion. Bang them up a division and we might finish the season with more than 7 teams.

I would say eveey team in that prem plus 5 from div 1 are probably better than us.

Yep, a year and a half ago and I'm sure you've improved some since then. Don't know about Mowmacre but I agree, the others would all hold their own. I just want more teams in the Prem with us to cover the inevitable folds. Another season of 14 games and I reckon we'd be reforming in the lower leagues just to get a decent amount of matches.

If it was a year and a half ago then you would have watched us against a division 5 team. A little bit different.
Since the end of last season we've lost our centre back, left back and centre mid to retirement. And our keeper has moved to royal oak after picking up players player and man of the match awards.
They have been replaced by a 22 year old keeper never played higher than div 5. And 2 teenagers that have never played mens football. We are far from improved

watched monsell wmc today there no way good enough for alliance premier however there having a go at it fair play boys but i think youll struggle if im honest good luck mr jones and the boys

I played in a game where you (division 5) knocked us (division 1, now Prem) out the Billy Walton. We've certainly not improved since then.

We got 10 players behind the ball and defendes like mad in that game. You were all over us and hit the woodwork a few times. Our gk was clearly man of the match. We had 2 shots all game and scored 2 goals. Can we play like that week in week out? I dont think so.

If 2 or 3 of these prem sides end up dropping out and 2 or 3 more teams come up from div 1 then we would happily play in the prem. But as it stands we will be rock bottom and have a season like Thurmastons last. (If I still have a side after 5 games)

If u have a season like us last season.....urll still be in the prem next season....pointless having relagations
