East Goscote v Sparta Moshdock - OFF

East Goscote were unable to field a team.

Whilst we have empathy towards East Goscote and understand it can be a struggle to get a team out with whatever is going on at the club - we do feel that only informing us of this at 9.45 on Sunday morning, just as we all arrive at the ground (all the way from Wigston) is pretty poor form.

Groby 4-0 CSKA 2nds

Final game of the season for us today, crazily early and disappointing finish all in all. Competed first half in what was a scrappy 45 minutes with both sides passing up chances to score. 2nd half we faded sadly, and after 2 scrappy goals Groby improved and scored two decent goals.

Sad that the season is over, one of the disadvantages of having a ground where games don't get cancelled!! But happy we've improved from last season's struggles, but could have been better. Hopefully strengthen over the summer and push for promotion.

Aths 3 Countesthorpe 0

Good win, relatively comfortable. One more game then Holmes Park awaits. Starting to play well again rather than scrappy performances.

Back to back wins for NPE agaist  Niffy and Thurmaston. Just two games left so hoping to finish strong. Division two has been wide open (well except for foxes). If we could have had the squad we have now all season think we would of been more competitive. Yesterdays 8-1 win was another good performace as was last weeks 4-1 win away to niffy. Good response after are semi final defeat to foxes.

Trinderbox 0-6 Suecastle

Having seen Trinderbox upset Vale recently this was a game we were all well up for a determined to not let the same happen to us. Two early goals had us firmly established in the game and from then on we felt as though we could get the win provided we continued our early form. A couple of goals either side of half time sealed the result for us. Sadly both sides finished the game with 10 men after a scuffle left the referee with no choice but to show both players red cards.

Thanks to the Trinderbox lads and good luck for your remaining few games.

Waiting for the Website Manager to get back on track to be able to run an update - he has the licence but not the hardware at present - the licence is not transferable

I have manually updated the tables and they are on the website as are next weeks fixtures

I cannot see how to manually input the results although most if not all are in the results thread on the forum

I will have a go at uplifting the Match Reports

wigston fields 1 aberdale 3 no doubt the poorest 45 mins we have played this season not only could we not string 2 passes together players were struggling to stay on there feet lol that's what happens when half the starting line started a birthday mash up Saturday afternoon and carried it on till early hours sunday morning credit to the wigston boys took full advantage and should have gone in more then just the 1 nil up at half time! twenty mins into the second half we changed a few things around with john mcdade banging in a brace to get us the win which looked highly unlikely special mention to our sub vince when he came on def changed the game around all the best to wigston for the rest of the season good set of lads like the majority of teams weve faced this season
