A really good game and a fair bit closer than the scoreline suggests. 1-0 down at half time and 2 quick-fire goals around the 70th minute put the game to bed but we played through until the end.

Played in the right spirit against a really good footballing team - probably the best footballing side we have played this season.

Hats off to Wigston gave us a decent game. Had good banter too. All the best for the season

Royalist 3 WPR 8 - A good game played on a bogy pitch against 10 men for much of the game, Royalist had a few problems and started with only 10 players, making it 11 after around 15 mins, WPR were already 2 nil up. WPR went in a half time 4 nil up after some great wing play and domination by my lads, Royalist then picked up an injury and went back down to 10 men with no subs, WPR scored early on in the second to take it 5-0, followed very quickly by 6,7 and 8. We then took the foot of the gas and a credit to Royalist they kept trying and from a couple of defensive lapses scored 2 very quickly. they then scored in the last couple of minutes to take it to 8-3. A good Solid performance from us and on another day Easton would have scored a double hatrick! well played all. good luck to Royalist a great set of lads.

Suecastle 3-5 Monsell WMC

It's fair to say we went into this game expecting a tough test and when we lost a player (leaving us with only 10!) on Sunday morning the task became a lot tougher.

Monsell deservedly took the lead after creating a string of chances but we soon struck back after a good spell of our own. We hit the bar and missed a penalty in the first half but also rode our luck whilst defending so a 1-1 scoreline at half time was more than satisfactory for us.

The second half was more of the same and as leg tired game became more open and the goals started to come. The scoreline remained close, level or just a goal in it, until the last 15 minutes when our legs started to go and Monsell to full advantage.

Thanks very much to the Monsell lads for a good match and good luck in the rest of the competition. We found them to be a good set of lads and will look forward to facing them again given the chance in the future.
