| Lost 4-3 to Barcabullona tonight, they had a scratch side out, but fair play to them, they got the result. Excellently officiating by glen or glyn Stewart. My apologies for incorrect spelling, but was well worth noting.
One last big push, over to Thurmaston on Friday to play on the slope of doom. A point to finish above Barcabullona...

How come, couldn't they get a proper team out or something, what was the reason that many goals went in? If you can beat Advance and WCB, then surely putting 19 past a div 3 team isnt too incomprehensible...? Good result by what appears to be a very good team...

We lost 11-0 to Enderby after a tough 1-1 draw earlier in season. It happens, when you have run out of fight, ability can tear you apart lol

| White Eagles 0-2 Aylestone Athletic another good win for Aylestone and another clean sheet. just shows why they have one of the best defensive records in the league. Just a word on the White Eagles team. I have never seen such a bunch of arrogant players in a sunday league team before. There number 7, was continually telling Aylestone there poor when theyve been consistantly top 3ish all season. there linesman didnt have a clue either, the pace of Aylestone attack was to much for the Eagles defence and he was just putting his flag up every time they broke clear. Aylestone are clearly one of the best teams in this division along with Oak & Royalists but for some reason the Eagles dont like that. shame they cant live up to the hype of pre-season thinking they was gonna rip this league apart. O and what a clanger by there goal keeper for Aylestone first goal. See if he writes about that one on here #TAXI | |

I'd rather be cleaning the sewers out than have to go there. Haha agreed! Played Thurmaston tonight, had a great laugh with them, we lost 5-2 i think, but end of season feel to it. Discussion over whether that was the last game for the club. For my money it was, i won't start a season i can't finish, and this season has been close to folding several times. Malc has other ideas. We shall see

O and what a clanger by there goal keeper for Aylestone first goal. See if he writes about that one on here #TAXI Now that I can confirm that we will be folding at the end of the season, I'll give some back. Nice to find out now that you are related to Aylestone, so much for your denying it all season. This is complete and utter rubbish what you have written. Not ONCE did we swear at the ref, put a malicious tackle in or threaten an opposition player. Vinay - the player in question (number 7) was unfortunate to escape serious injury on more than one occasion and quite frankly we got sick and fed up of your dirty tactics. One of our players accidentally clips your winger, he stops and goes: 'next time I'll f*cking deck you', charming, I know who would have won in a fight though and he would have been wearing white. Your striker, well, no point even acknowledging people like him. One of your players is injured, I throw the ball out of play, he chucks the throw in straight out for a goal kick instead of passing it back to me and then goes on to abuse our linesman like I've never seen before. I really felt ashamed to have shared a pitch with such an arrogant, unsporting bunch and I'm so glad ROYAL OAK won the league, because you don't deserve nothing. Won't get anywhere with that attitude and long ball. Clanger... I'll give you that but not much you can do with the wind eh? Pre season hype? We were one of 6 teams imo at the beginning who could have been challenging and imo were rightly up there at the beginning when we won 4 and drawn 1 at the start with a couple of good cup runs too (BW last 16 and CC Quarter) with a full squad. We've lost players throughout the season through injury, 4 players leaving on their travels for gap years and a couple quitting but we've still plugged on and not moaned. We've met some cracking teams along the way and have had fair battles but Aylestone is one team that doesn't belong on the list. Que sera, all the best to all the other Div 6 teams (even LKS + Simeon good at heart really and Bowden, 4 good battles with them despite some spikyness!) The Eagles have flown but some of the people our lads have met along the way won't be forgotten and a big thanks to all of the players/managers/teams we have come across over the last 2 years and to all at the Alliance League and maybe we will cross paths some time in the future!
