| Global Athletic 4-2 Little Bowden
Shocking first 20 minutes from us, two soft goals identical to each other. A fifth penalty give away in three games we gave away too but our keeper pulled off a great save. We pulled one back but conceded again in minutes. second half much the same, global scored a peach of a header then dropped off and we bagged late on. If we stopped arguing with one another we could do well... But no sign of that happening any time soon. Shocking. Good luck to Global for rest of season.

| we were absolutely abysmal today. No link up, knocked the ball round at the back and then void of ideas. the positive is that we came back from behind three times to show good fight. Niffy were a decent set of lads, and deserved three points. We were missing our two centre mid todays and it showed | |

Not much to say other than we didn't play well at all, only good thing to come out the game was we came back 3 times to keep hold of our home record.
Deffo need to improve or we will be in a dog fight at wrong end of the table.

Got the tough game we were expecting but we were not at the races today. 2 of our best players unavailable and you know its not your week when you lose a player, knocked out by one of our own players. Robin taken to hospital with concussion but thankfully back home now.
With all 3 subs used by half time, we also had to play some of the 2nd half with 10 men.
All that said though, LDA were far better than us today and fully deserved to win - good luck for the rest of the season

Thought we deserved it. Too sloppy goals to concede but Bees Knees looked good from set pieces and long throws and we should have dealt with them. A couple of screamers from our lads with special mention for a Danny Coulton driver from 25 yards.
CSKA Seconds 7-2 Blaby
Great result for our Seconds who remain unbeaten in three and are sharing the goals around quite a bit too.

| Aylestone -2 Mivan-3
We made it hard work again today just like we did last week. 2-0 down at half time after a poor showing and missing 2 peno's. We all knew that aylestone's pitch that the hill is that steep that as long as you are still in touching distance after going against it and the sun then you stand a good chance. We hit back quickley straight after half time and quickly with the help of another peno it was 2-2. We pretty much dominated the next 15 min as we pushed to take the lead and we got a rewards in the end with Rav Dhillonm hitting his hat trick. After that we were never really troubled and felt we deserved it. We still know we are not in top gear yet which probably makes it a little more pleasing.
Aylestone good bunch of lads and had some decent banter. They will be up there guarenteed! Ref didnt help today for either teams, 5 yellows overall and it wasnt that type of game at all.
Scorer:
Rav Dhillon X3 | |

| We (LBT) had a pretty average game, but did the job. Only issue was an indirect free kick given for a back pass after it was chested back to keeper... Not sure how the ref could give it from where she was but thats football (by the way I'm not complaining about the ref, she had a pretty good game to be fair) personally I think that helped push us on for the win in the end. | |

| CSKA Carnabys Seconds 7 - 2 Blaby United
I was expecting a much closer encounter today and, to be fair, the scoreline probably flatters us a bit. Blaby had the best of the opening 20-30 mins, then we scored against the run of play. Thereafter, they were throwing numbers up top and we got ourselves 3 in front by half time.
The turning point was our keeper saving a penalty when at 3-1. After that, we went on to make it 7-1 before they snatched a late consolation.
It was good to see some nice goals today and some good football in patches. I felt a bit for their keeper, cos he made some cracking saves and there wasn't a lot he could've done about any of the goals. All in all, a good game played in the right spirit.

| White Eagles 2-1 Sporting Birstall
Trifunovic Micic
We started very poorly and Birstall scored after about a minute following a defensive mix up. We were then dominated as Birstall grabbed a hold of the game but we were solid at the back to hold on until half time after creating very little. Second half, we got stuck in more and swapped a couple of players around which worked. We started to get the ball down and play more before a cracking free kick from Danilo Trifunovic brought it level. Birstall hit the bar but a great cross was finished with a top header from Zoran Micic with about 10 to go. We then had two glorious opportunities to finish the game but Birstalls keeper made a good double save before I had to save two late chances and we held on for the win.
Birstall are a very good side and will cause a lot of teams problems this season, solid in midfield, number 10 is a quality player. Will be a tough return match but just happy to get 3 points despite not playing at our best. Special mention to Thomas Moule who reffed the game with good authority and common sense!

You had a real chance to get back in it with the penalty, but after that was difficult for you. I was really pleased by how clinical we were though. I was impressed by you guys though, you'll do well from what little I've seen of the division so far

Sam Gillespie
On what was one of the hardest and saddest days in the clubs history, with a sudden death within the club, the scoreline today was always going to be less important. However, the whole club united in grief and this drove the team on and gave them an extra 20% in the sweltering heat.
The hard work paid off, limiting WCB to very few chances and allowing us to steal all 3 points in the last couple of minutes.
A lovely way to honour a truly lovely man.

There won't be many tougher away fixtures than what we've faced this weekend. Both BK & NPE (Friday) gave us a real test and will both be up there come the end of the season.
After sucessive 90minutes I can confirm I am now physically destroyed . If I'm still awake by 6pm it will be a miracle.

| Fosse City 2 - 5 Enderby Town
Nathan Williams Jamie Barnett
Poor start to the game for us and we were taken apart in the first half hour by a young Enderby team. Found ourselves 2-0 down and we only really settled down after shuffling our pack a bit.
Middle third of the game we grabbed a goal back then pressed really hard for an equaliser, but a bit of bad luck, a few good saves from the Enderby Keeper and some poor finishing from us meant we didn't grab the goal we probably deserved.
Then a bit of sucker punch as Enderby stretched their lead to 3 and then 4-1, effectively game over with 20 odd minutes to go. We did grab another goal back with about 5 to play only to gift them a goal immediately after.
Bad day at the office for us but Enderby look a very strong team, and with age on their side I'm sure they're only going to get better as the season progresses. They'll face much tougher opposition than us but I'm backing them to do very well, I hope they do too, they're a decent bunch of lads and the management team are good chaps as well.
Apparently they have nearly 30 players signed on, thats ridiculous, we have maybe 15 and it seems we are down to the bare bones every week. A good game and some great goals today too. All the best to Enderby and cheers for popping down the Winchester for a few drinks after.
