2-1 down and shown great character to win a very physical game.

Hope all you who thought we would get beat give us some credit!

MJR 1-9 Huncote R.

We took the lead after 20 seconds and it was pretty much one way traffic from start to finish. 5-0 at half time. MJR looked to come back into it but our pace up top hurt them throughout.

3 lads with a hat-trick each, a decent ref and a good bunch of lads to play against. Onto the next one.

Superfly 3 - 0 fleckney

Some very football today and we bossed the game from start to end.
Well reffed as well.

Impressed with us not conceding in 3 games.
Cup game next week so we'll be mixing it about it and try some new things.

lots to moan about from our game today. But we weren't good enough. think the 3-0 scoreline flattered foxes but they probably edged it.

also, finding it difficult to stick to my golden rule and not to talk about the referee today..,

Too be honest azzuri are good team solid at back and pace on wings beatable but thought we we defo better team first half had 6 good chances but failed to score and that what punished us azzuri took there chances and could off had more easily.
Must point out tho bit off a shame even azzuri players them self agreeing that there left back DICKO 5mins into the game kicked out at our winger Bassett and the ref gave a free kick went to have a word as ref walked over he then spat at our player and was shown straight red very disgusting what a tramp hope the ref sends the report in apart from that azzuri will be up there good team and good lads top quality

Cheers pal, yeah totally agree with you horrible what he did! All our lads told him aswell he tried to defend himself by saying basset had kicked him but we all said you still don't spit at someone no matter what they've done! Disgusting!!! It took us a While to settle after losing a player so early on and I'd agree you had the better of the 1st half and you boys were guilty of missing some sitters especially the header at back post right at the end! 2nd half I'd say belonged to us with fitzy finally waking up!! Proud of the lads today (other than said sent off player) for putting in a performance like that with 10 men against a good hoskins side.

Plough 4-1 countersthorpe

Probably went into game little bit to relaxed and expected big win, countershorpe gave us few scares hit bar in first half, and missed one on one second. Still think we had it under control though and prob could have gone up a gear or two.

Wigston 6 - 1 The Harrow

TBH Wigston should have smashed Harrow by more than 6, hit the post/bat 3 times and missed easy chances throughout the game. Thought Harrow would have been stronger than they were, no chances in the first half and the Wigston keeper had to catch one ball.
It is still a case of Wigston missing chances that may come back and haunt them throughout the season in tight games.
Overall though another good win for this new team, the test will be next week against CSKA Carnabys to see how far Wigston have progressed since the CSKA Sporting drubbing.

Red Admiral 3-1 Inter Mivan

Great result for the adders today,was a real tough match but great squad performance from us and deserved the 3 points.We were missing 4/5 players,including our captain , and think mivan had some missing too but still had more subs than us and sure they will agree we were up for it bit more than them today.Conceded an early goal,but when level we soaked up the pressure then hit them on the break,could have scored a few more.Theyre a good side and sure theyll be up there at end of season.
Best wishes to our striker darryl " kitkat " savage who lost a pinkie at 5 aside midweek,hope hes back playing with us soon.
Div 6 is looking strong and were just hoping to be in the mix over the 2nd half of season.
Mivan were good lads and wish them all the best !!!!!!

You were very luckyto get a Peno and was surprised at the miss. yes our Keeper pulled off One good save but ur keeper made many saves! Was very disappointed with the man in the middle who seemed to be working on commission!
Was very happy with our defence whO finally got a clean sheet under our belt, something we were very proud of last year!
Hopefully your striker (dave?) injury weren't too bad! Looked quite nasty as he fell!

Not a bad game for the Plough today, a few players missing but still got the win. All the best to Countesthorpe for the rest of the season, i dont think it will be to long before they get their first win, as long as they keep their heads up

This Premiership this season is ridiculous, its so close, it could be a record low points total for 18 games that wins you the league. Advance sit top at the moment with 8pts after 4 games!!

WRFC 3-6 FC Pochin

Strange one today, we were brilliant for the first half hour and were 2-0 up. A goal late in the second half revitalised Pochin. They seemed to busy arguing with the referee unfortunately for us they seemed to sort that out for the second half. 2 more injuries to add to our incredible list of missing players, kind of feels like everything is going against us at the moment, so much so that I am an emergency Centre Midfielder at the minute.

MDH 3 Polska 1

We were shocking for about 70 minutes. Despite reminding the lads all week that this would be our biggest test so far this season, they let themselves down, and MDH with their pacy forward line deservedly 2-0 up at the break. Changed the formation for second half along with subs and we started finally playing some football with 20 mins to go. Had a few chances go begging until we finally got a penalty on 86 minutes to make it 2-1, only for MDH to score a pen of their own right at the end. Kick up the backside time and there will be changes next week but all the best to the season for MDH, and well done to Clive Bruce who had an excellent game as ref.

Well done to you boys with that win. That's certainly going to open up Division Six that little bit more! Also, given their good start, it's put an excellent marker down for yourselves after your steady start.

don't get me wrong - you guys deserved the win but it was silly errors that got you your goals. we were always gonna have to sit and try our best - just saying for the first 10-15 in 2nd half you guys didnt seem to be up for it and we should have taken advantage of it. dave is ok as i haven't heard any other, we lost a lad at half time too which didnt help....would be interested to know who your issue in midield was as i was one of them haha!!...hopefully we can move on from this!

Possibly our best performance of all time today. From the very start we dominated the game in possession terms and an early goal followed. Could have made it 2 or 3 early doors but Global snatched a goal back with their first real attack. We continued to be positive and got our 2nd before a defensive mix up allowed Global to equalise once more. After that we didn't look back and my goal was rarely threatened. Could have hit double figures but we hit the post 3 times and missed a couple of sitters. The lad we brought in to replace Zoran Micic who we thought would be working every week made his debut today and got 5 assists, just couldn't get the goal he deserved. Cracking team performance though and fair play to Global, very nice team and wish them the best of luck for the rest of the season.

I'm using it as an example about how you always come on here, deny everything and exaggerate everything in your favour. Evidently Oak were solid today but you're making it out to be a completely different game and you seem to do it every week. Don't suppose you're the linesman are you?

Wigston fields 6 - 1 The Harrow

Agree with what was said earlier, we made the Win harder than it should have been. First half domination by Wigston. The only touch our keeper got was from a pass back to switch the play. Comfortable playing from the back and constantly knocked on the harrow door. A lot off good football and play but didn't text the keeper enough. When we won a penalty after a long ball and the keeper clattered our player the normal clam and collected mark Allen blazed the spot kick over. A second penalty was later converted by nathan patrick after a handball on the line meaning Wigston went in 1-0 up at Half time. The line 'you couldn't score in a brothel' came out after being frustrated at the lack of shots on target and goals. After half time Wigston were straight back into it going 2-0 up but harrow hit right back through a long ball and a mix up at the back led to the harrow scoring. After that Wigston woke up, steamrolled to success and the goals flowed, hitting the bar and post on the way.

the prem this year is top quality ever bloody team are good enough to beat everyone , i wanna get involved silly div1 lol, bet gordon morley and co are rubbing there hands with this years alliance ,
just birstall stamford and puzzle is complete lol

CSKA Carnabys reserves 5-1 Friar Lane

Comfortable win in the end against a friar lane team that were clearly short on numbers. We scored after about 10 minutes then perhaps expected the goals to come and weren't as clinical as we could be. Friar lane competed well and we only really put the game to bed in the last 20 minutes after they had pulled one back to make it 3-1. Great to see our left back get his first ever goal for the club, even if it was a skewed cross!!

the whole linesman issue again-he is no worse than anyone else's team(he actually runs the line instead of being a uninterested sub who can/can't be arsed to do it)...no im not btw!!its just an assessment on how the game was played. oak played very well and deserved the win, probably the best side we've come up against so far, just their goals came down to decisions that werent made that should have been-but you concentrating on your own game wouldn't know that!!

I think we went out there thinking it would be another easy win but in the end it was but they made us work for it, if we had played our normal passing game instead of trying to shoot every chance we got i think it would of been an easy win.

They have got three quality players in there side who played well and stood out from the others.

Looking forward to next weeks encounter against Wigston should be a good game.

Wigston Rangers 3 v 6 FC Pochin (HT 2-1)

Game went pretty much to plan today as I won the toss and we decided to play uphill and against the wind in the 1st half. It was always going to difficult for us but were happy to go in at half time just 2-1 down.

The 2nd half was pretty much one way traffic bar a screamer from Wigston to match Azza's earlier.

Only 12 players available for the manager again with the centre back in goal again - an injury just before half time meant no subs for the 2nd half and we had to play with 10 players for a while.

Not sure why he put it but I must disagree with Dan about us arguing with the referee. I can categorically state that that was not the case, none of the Pochin lads got involved with the ref and I am sure Gordon will concur with that.

To be honest I thought Gordon was quality and that the whole game was played in great spirit.

As for Wigston, they are clearly missing players and its a shame for them that Dan had to play in midfield 1st half. Good bunch of lads and I am sure that they will start picking up points soon

So are Wigston as this will be a stern test to see how far progression has been made since the appalling display against CSKA Sporting. I think you will start as favourites going on your overall performances and the goals you have been scoring.

Strange one today, we were brilliant for the first half hour and were 2-0 up. A goal late in the second half revitalised Pochin. They seemed to busy arguing with the referee unfortunately for us they seemed to sort that out for the second half. 2 more injuries to add to our incredible list of missing players, kind of feels like everything is going against us at the moment, so much so that I am an emergency Centre Midfielder at the minute.

Wigston Rangers 3 v 6 FC Pochin (HT 2-1)

Game went pretty much to plan today as I won the toss and we decided to play uphill and against the wind in the 1st half. It was always going to difficult for us but were happy to go in at half time just 2-1 down.

The 2nd half was pretty much one way traffic bar a screamer from Wigston to match Azza's earlier.

Only 12 players available for the manager again with the centre back in goal again - an injury just before half time meant no subs for the 2nd half and we had to play with 10 players for a while.

Not sure why he put it but I must disagree with Dan about us arguing with the referee. I can categorically state that that was not the case, none of the Pochin lads got involved with the ref and I am sure Gordon will concur with that.

To be honest I thought Gordon was quality and that the whole game was played in great spirit.

As for Wigston, they are clearly missing players and its a shame for them that Dan had to play in midfield 1st half. Good bunch of lads and I am sure that they will start picking up points soon

No disrespect mate, but first half some of your lads were well out of order, complaining at pretty much every decision. And some of the comments were a bit ridiculous your 2 centre midfielders in particular. I am pretty sure Gordon will agree that stating "These are f**king useless" is a little harsh. It was a decent game first half, disappointed with the second, all the best for the season I reckon you will be right up there in the mix.

Injuries just keep piling up for us so I am likely to be in the middle for the foreseeable future.

We were shocking for about 70 minutes. Despite reminding the lads all week that this would be our biggest test so far this season, they let themselves down, and MDH with their pacy forward line deservedly 2-0 up at the break. Changed the formation for second half along with subs and we started finally playing some football with 20 mins to go. Had a few chances go begging until we finally got a penalty on 86 minutes to make it 2-1, only for MDH to score a pen of their own right at the end. Kick up the backside time and there will be changes next week but all the best to the season for MDH, and well done to Clive Bruce who had an excellent game as ref.

After last weeks performance we asked for a response and got it today. From the first minute the lads looked hungry from front to back and for me I think the damage was done in the first half with a deserved 2-0 lead. Not quite the same intensity second half but that can be expected and Polska played a little more, the right winger coming on looked particularly bright with some nice footwork, but still the back line looked relatively assured. For me personally I felt both penalties awarded were debatable and the clearest cut one apparently missed but this is the joy of football with much being open to interpretation. Still extremely happy with the result which I think on the day was probably a fair one against a Polska side who's results show they will be there or there about a come the end of the season. All the best to the Polska lads they were a good group and kept playing although a few diving rolls at times that were a little amusing!
