Also agree with Dezza's post, and as much as we have the banter on here, i think the competition will be very close again next year.

If Jimmy B has aimed his post at NRI, then i would suggest looking back at our record over the past two seasons...out of all cups this season in the first round, last season knocked out of one by a team relegated from division above, and knocked out of another cup by a team in our division. Although we have only lost two in the league in two years, last season we beat none of the top 4 teams by more than 1 goal i believe, and this year, we have only won 6 out of 10...

Some people have a bit of banter at us about pothunting, which is fine, its all in good humour, but anyone who actually suggests it seriously, or doubts the integrity of our team is an absolute muppet...i am now looking forward to keeping a clean sheet against Fosse whilst our strikers have a field day...

Well fosse were probably the worse team i played against in div2 last year so that should happen widds.

I do believe its becoming boringly easily to wind people up.on here, relax its ''only'' football

Yikes! I got 2 big essays from the NRI boys then! Why the assumption that it was aimed at yourselves? It was banter aimed at the whole division! Absolutely no doubt about it you will. At least everyone else is guaranteed 6 points in div1 next year. i would personally be so nice to support a possible petition to keep you in div2 this year though as i feel sorry for you guys.

Anyway The team to look out for is NRI, obviously they have a weaker keeper than most in the division but if malc can get the lads to believe in themselves the prem is on the cards. Really will be a good division and i see it being on that goes down to the last game top 5 in no particular order, azzuri, aylestone, hoskins, foxes, Nri.

What makes you say that helly? I agree they may find it more difficult as they have been promoted but I still believe they'll be up the top

A few very very dire players in this division this year, a few of them in the foxes side, so can't see them doing that great......

Nah, Fosse will prop up the table should they finish the season.

Thurmaston will be decent this year.

that div 1 will be a top top league very competative with most off these all with a challenge to win it !

100% true. Thurmaston are merging with a Syston team and will be a threat at the top of the league, not in the basement with us.

No egos or pothunters in our team mate, no one is gonna leave if we don't win our first 10 games. Unlike most teams in the league.

We might not pick up many points but we will see the season out.

Despite what the league say, Dunton & Broughton have not simply changed their name. Like someone posted earlier in the thread it will be Barcabullona moving over to the alliance and they will be very strong.

Can see a strange end to the season, when teams realise they're on the verge of promotion to the prem and start throwing games and playing ringers to be deducted points! Could be interesting!

I am of the opinion that the Prem needs 12 teams but there was a fear amongst the committee that if certain teams went up to make up 12 that they would fold, I know of one team that shall remain anonymous that said if they were promoted into the prem they would fold immediately.

I think the committee desperately wanted 12 but just couldn't confidently make up the numbers to 12.

We will be doing our best to get there by the end of this coming season...

NRI just equalised against JimmyB's fosse.

Technically still pothunting then as harrow 4th in div 5 suggests theyre better than div 7 ;-)
