Players who have impressed in your division this season????

Players who stood out for me in both games were
Adam dyke at Huncote
Darrell matts at magna
Little willy at ac wigston
All 3 had two very good games against Saff lounge, that's my opinion

Ryan Allen ( Saff lounge )

Andy Herbert ( Kaffir Inn )

All pure class in my eyes, wouldn't mind adding them to the NRI :-)

I've seen a few games in div 7 this season, and have been impressed with the following. getting names of squad photos.

Humbo: Gifford, Geary and Shingler
Mivan: Gurpreet, Pestelli and Rav
Wigston: Dan and Whatsize
Cska Sporting: Maher

Agree with Malc about all of those players. The centre mid for Reem Team on Sunday was good, Luca i think they were calling him. Ran with the ball very well and was always looking around for a pass....

Would guess at that being Luke Towers mate, played with him last season and is a quality player

Saff Lounge - Baz Dovey and Ryan Rowley (played them a few times over the past 2 seasons and Baz has played in just about every position except keeper and not seen him put a foot wrong in any of them, Ryan has pace and strength that are always dangerous)

Huncote - Adam Dyke and Wes Johnson (the pair looked very sharp last week and can see how they have a few goals between them)

Magna - Darryl Matts and Hogan Smith (both class players and make a difference for Magna at either end)

Kaffir - Andy Herbert (Agree with Magician, influential in everything that Kaffir do and so hard to stop both in the air and on the floor)

Reem Team - Paul Leaver, Chris Bell and the other CM (Leaver was class both up top and at the back, Bell and the other CM were outstanding too, rarely give the ball away)


NRI - Dave Ilnicki, Leon Coleman, Earl and I think Coley from the Resies (Dave has been consitantly good everytime we've played them, Leon was unplayable first time we played them, Earl missed the games against us but from what i've seen is one of the best hardworking midfielders in the league and Coley from the ressies played left wing in our recent game and was a constant threat)

AC - Fozzi (makes a massive difference when he is fit at the back for them)

WIDDS.........a true gent...a very lucky chap, he's got a mention on my 4000th anniversary post.... i love him

Pollards - think its Semedo or something, tall lad upfront. Looked dangerous everytime i seen him. Doesnt get as many goals as the rest but a real handfull. Also the skinhead in centre mid looked a real good player.

Also White Eagles keeper looks solid everytime i seen him

Friar Lane, there was a centre midfielder who looked really comfortable on the ball and impressed me. Young lad cant remember his name. For a team not doing great he did a good job.

NPE - Daz Candy, goals machine.

For me in division 3

Darrell Matts- Magna Town- Just been different class for us
Andy Herbert - Kaffir Inn- Stop him stop Kaffir, simple as that
Ryan Rowley- Saffron Lounge- Tore us to shreds a few weeks back, might have to tap his legs together for the final!

AFC Sporting - Micky Walker

Global - Sameer

Humbo - Gifford

pollards - reece and kyle up top can be lethal, the other big lad who looks similar to heskey is a handfull too!

white eagles - lad who played vs us at the start of the season in the middle of the park, milan ceko i think? good player. didnt play in the more recent game.

Yeah, Milan Ceko oozes class, unfortunately he lives in Corby and so only plays for us when we desperately need him. He played probably 3 games for us at the beginning of the season and then only played in cup games since which is a massive shame - if he played every week we'd be laughing! He also has uni to contend with.

Team by team:

NPE: Apart from Daz Candy, special mention to the ginger battering ram up top, doesn't get a lot of credit but does a lot of dirty work. Also got to say their bald left back.

Hotshots: Matt Coyne was a handful up front in our first match - think he played centre back in the second match. Solid both times. Then obviously Ash Robbo.

Oak: Doyle and Jones stand out for me.

Beaver: Again, a ginger lad up front, seemed very lively against us second time we played.

Pollards: Kyle Walbrook is a very experienced head and a sound professional, a top lad.

Friar Lane: Agree with Oak, one lad in CM who was extremely comfortable on the ball, think he may have even been their captain if my memory serves me correctly. Also, a blonde haired winger comes to mind.

Unfortunately, I missed both matches against Bowden, first one through injury and the second as I went to Stamford Bridge so cant really comment there. Wheel don't have too much quality imo, just a solid team, nothing spectacular but can stand on their own feet. Same applies to Firs.

EDIT: In fact, one centre back comes to mind from Firs, think it was their captain again. Possibly one of the best individual performances I have seen this season when they beat us 1-0 (apart from Ash Robinson of course!)

Yeah, I made a couple of good stops first half. Normally I've played centre-back/right-back but we had no goalkeeper in pre-season and haven't looked back since!

Yeah, I'm definitely going to uni next year but may be going to Loughborough or Leicester which would mean that I can carry on playing

Div 3

Nri - Dave ilnicki - can play anywhere could play for whoever he liked,
Magna - Ross griffin makes a huge difference to magna for me when he plays centre mid...bring maturity to a young side
Reem - Paul Lever quality at either end of the park
Kaffir - Andy Herbert makes them tick
Epworth - Marc Sherlock got all the tricks, Ragsy an LM Utd legend....back home next year I hope
Saff - Tom Hill & Lee Barrett (spelling) did you not see WNF
Huncote - mark Brennan. Head and shoulders our player of the year.....makes a big difference to adam dyke and Wes johnson (the players everyone else will pick out) when he plays.....only reem have beaten is in the league when all three have played.

ryan rowley is lethal, only 19 i can see prem teams wanting him in the next couple of years, must be 1 of the fastest players in the league and the boy can finish

A brilliant player and a top lad used to play with him for Friar Lane and he was quality then.
