Everyone agrees its bad, everyone agrees it happens....so the actual arguement is about............people agreeing with each other...
Lets not make it personal gents, banter about footie is great as long as its well intended, over past few weeks there has been far too much ill feeling, now i am going to stand next to Browny and Dan and have some huggy time! Back to footie....Niffy lost 3-0 to Desford today, surprise result that.... Talbot thumped Saff Lounge - fantastic result Superfly drew against Sparta Now thats at least three impressive results today that we could be talking about!!
Your picture could not be any more homoerotic. Also we have now taken 16 points from 18 and lie in the bottom 3.

| Well my bunch of 18 year olds seem to have matured as the seasons progressed, a few of us turned 19 that must be the difference! We have beat teams comfortably who hammered us first half of the season. I think you might have to wrestle Jens Lehmann for that one | |

| So the Division 6 title seems all but wrapped up for you boys Mr Brown? With only a point needed from the HPR game on Sunday to secure the title.
It now seems a fight for 2nd place with Hotshots, NPE and us in the race for it.
Should hopefully still be an interesting run in....starting with the game for us against Bowden on Friday night.

| I won't allow such talk as hood park might surprise us. I have seen many Liverpool 'bankers' result in me turning my phone off an ignoring the abuse that follows... So I take nothing as a given. (and yes, we probably are better than Liverpool). Or whatever dig you are thinking of aiming lol

Not forgotten, by us anyway... We seem to keep slipping up of late and getting bailed out by other teams, seems everytime we don't win neither do Oadby or Saffron, Does anyone want to win division 5? from our game i would say the first half we looked very tired, started ok but got an early goal and then relaxed even more, cska came back into it with there direct style and scored twice in 5 minutes from set-pieces the first a long free kick from the half way line flicked into the path for the cb i think to tap in from close range, the second the same man from a corner with a good header.... we did then try to step it up in the first half but looked a lot like we were running on the beach, their keeper pulled off two good stops late in the half to keep it to 2-1 at half time. Second half we made a couple of changes and things were a lot better, much more pace and intensity about our attacks, i think they only got into our half about 3 times in the second half as we pilled on the pressure, but a combination of a keeper in inspired form, the post, bad luck and dodgy shooting left us frustrated. Again the keeper made 2/3 unbelieveable saves, we hit the post a couple of times and rolled the ball across the line maybe 3/4 times agonisingly wide or just out of a team mates reach, thought we had a lifeline when a free kick whipped in was practically caught by a defender inside the six yard box but the only person on or off the pitch not to see it was the ref, every one of our players went up simultaniously and likewise half the cska players had there heads in there hands expecting a spot kick, but the ref wasn't well positioned and couldn't see it. We had plenty of chances but just couldn't hit the target on a consistant enough basis to get the goals we needed to win. Well done to CSKA who defended very well second half and did make it difficult for us, think they may be our bogey team doing the double over us this season! But Cheers to Talbot and Birstall who kept us in the title race with there respective results two fantastic wins for them!

after friday night 5-1 win over birstall we said start where we left of and we did going 1 up after 5 mins then 2 after 10 the saff had a chance which was save then saffron hit the bar before we made it 3-0 after about 35mins we was passing the ball well and had a few mopre chances be4 making it 4 -0 at the break 1st half think by far we was the better side 2nd half saffron started to play the football we know they can they got 1 back with a freee kick that bouce up of the wall b4 a quailty volly from 20 yards b4 we score 2more and saffron score the last goal of the game with 3 mins to go over all we deserve our win and saffron started to play 45mins to late it a shame a few of there players would not shake hand but to the 1 who did good look for your run in wasnt there so i cant say too much, heard 1 of our own players caused a few squabbles with his own teammates, im going to have sort these inhouse problems out, think we are on the verge of collapse for some reason, really wish these cup finals would be played later in the season, will have to have words about losing with a bit of dignity by the looks of things, think we will struggle to finish in the top 4 the way things are going

| They say that these things balance themselves out over the course of the season.. and yesterday that was certainly evident. We've been on the wrong end of some dreadful refereeing this season, but yesterday it was rather favourable. Was a cracking game tho, one which any other day of the week, we would have drawn (7 already this season!). Just wish we had defended like we did yesterday in other games this season where we bottled what seemed like a certain 3 points.
Jon Brice with the goals for CSKA, his 11th and 12th of the season, good return for a center back.
Both keepers were on form yesterday tho, and there were a couple of chances flashed across face that should have been scored.
But yep, we did Oadby Owls a favour, only to see them getting scumped 6-1.
So after beating MDH for the second time this season, CSKA end the 2010-11 campaign with:
15th Apr: vs The Wheel (a) 17th Apr: vs Oadby Owls (h) 1st May: vs Komrska (a)
CSKA gonna be key players in both Championship and Relegation battles in Div5.

Your boys defended like gladiators in the second half and the keeper pulled off a couple of crackers, as a team twice now your boys have worked hard start to finish and play with a really good attitude. I'd like it noted that any frustration of yesterday that I have/ have had I have a great respect for the work rate you guys show. Well done CSKA and if you defend like that against Oadby you may well do us a favour. Well done again.

| I remember the team talk. "we are short lads, so we need to decide where to be weakest and cope easiest"
"isnt that the porn star and a Scottish (said for id, not race) defender, playing up top"
"yes it is.... I think we can put a dodgy defence out today!!!".
How did I know that you would aim wide 4 times and fluke it. Hang about... Does that mean Ron drew a blank even against that defence??

| Unfortunately not, the dubious goal panelnplayed their part in the first goal... I hit a strike from 30 yards that ricoced off Ron's backside and the deflection beat your keeper. Otherwise it was 5 goals for "the Scottish lad" | |
