Draw would have been a fair result, CPR unlucky with a goal to be disallowed at 0-0. Harrow looked far from full strength.

| Huncote 1-2 MDH Hard work today in the heat and on a very hard bobbly ground, fair to say it was a game of 2 halfs with the slope possibly playing it's part - Huncote dominated long periods of the first half and deserved their half time lead, only some last ditch defending preventing it from being more. Second half we came out much better and had the most of it, the keeper pulling of a few great saves and one cleared off the line - looked like it was going to be a repeat of last week for a while but Barby crept in to equilise and Thomas got on the end of a long free kick that wasn't dealt with to steal the points. Not at our best today for long periods but kept working hard and happy to take 3 much needed points Good luck to Huncote rest of the season, sorry we didn't come down the pub, our skipper forgot the directions and we couldnt find it | |

Who claimed the own goal then? It was the manager Wayne Have to say its a bit hard for the lads as we seem to get the short straw with players so we have a different team every week and we have 11/12 players. Well done for the cup win friday night.

| White Eagles 0-2 AFC Royal Oak. Today is certainly an experience we will look to learn from. Oak are by far the most physical team we have come across - the div 6 equivalent of Stoke City (apart from the hoofball - they actually tried to play at times), but all big lads, strong in the air, on the ball and in the tackle and scored their first with a Rory Delap-esq long throw. The second goal being a decently struck volley that our keeper had well covered into it took a nasty bobble and bobbled over his head. I have to admit the pitch wasn't great today with the ball bobbling all over the place for both sides. We also had a couple of chances - one being an 'offside' goal that even a couple of Oak lads said was never offside and a very strong penalty shout. But take nothing away from the Oak lads, I thought number 9 up front was very lively all game and Doyle (I think thats what you were calling him) was class in the centre of the park. A very organised outfit who are a fantastic sporting bunch of lads, wish them well for next season and hope they can do us a favour against Bowden in their last match! | |

| Hotshots 3 - 2 Pollards
Well where to start today? Last game of the season, think everyones heads were down the pub before we even started today. Shambolic performance, by far the worst 45mins by us this season, went in at the break 2 down. We were poor all over the park, created a fair few chances but nobody could finish for toffee! things got a bit heated at half time, quite embarrassing!
Second half we came out hoping to end our season on a high, and we did just that. very good team effort, scored 3 in the second half, could easily have been triple that.
Well done Pollards, your lads put in a good shift yesterday - good set of lads, all the best next season

| Advance Couriers 6-1 Magna 73 Rangers
Turned up with 14 today but crucially without the "superstars" that have let us down since christmas, so we were pretty thin on the ground in terms of actual quality.
We new it was going to be a tough day at the office and we had a plan to park the bus and frustrate advance and hopefully nick one on the break but it was fairly obvious that we didn't have the defensive qualities to pull that off.
Advance just came at us in waves. Doubling up on the wings, finding acres in midfield, we couldn't string 2 passes together.
The first was a free header for Kitch at the back post, you can not afford to do that, the 2nd was a cracking half volley drilled low by Kitch again, I was playing in goal for this one and had no chance.
The 3rd was an overhead kick from 6 yards which I managed to push onto the post but it crossed the line before being cleared away and the goal was given by our lino (eventually)
The 4th was a cracking shot by Flynny which flew into the top corner and the 5th was another free back post header and that was 5-0 at half time.
I must say at half time I expected to be on the end of double figures for the first time in my life, but we changed the shape put 2 up front and went to a more orthodox formation and drew the 2nd half 1-1, partly because we played better and also I think Advance dropped of the pace a little bit having already won the game.
Well done Advance, a good bunch of lads to be fair.

| Very pleased with our efforts yesterday, we controlled the game really well in my opinion, our defenders were a class apart and limited Reem to just one shot on target all game which was a free kick. Our midfield and strikers all put a cracking shift in and some of the link up play, particularly down the flanks was superb. First goal was a bit of a scrappy one with the keeper letting a pea roller in via the megs!! Second goal was also scrambled and we got a penalty to secure the game.
Done everything we can do so far, now just got to hope that Reem lose a game

Well played white eagles! i think we were the better team throughout though. it took a couple of inspired substitutions to get us going upfront. Doyle was quality today and bossed the middle of the park! Daz Jones (number9) has been a class transfer and hoping to see more goals next season. Very happy with our defence this season and looked solid again today! Ill be honest though the penalty shout for hand ball was a clear clear penalty but we have had enough of those decisions go against us this season so rode our luck with that one. As for the offside goal the lino in the second half is as honest as they come and gave u plenty of decisions through the second half. We felt harshly done to having TWO goals disallowed. Well done to white eagles on your first season together! showed alot of promise and will be stronger as a team next year

But 2nd half, particularly at the start we felt as if we couldnt get out of our half. As for inspirational substitutions, we knew that the lad with dreadlocks had a massive throw but f*ck me, that lad who set up your first goal as soon as he came on has an absolute monster of a throw! I can only remember one of your disallowed goals that came in the first half from a long throw and I have to say it was a foul all day long, the big man was climbing all over our centre half and didn't even make contact with the ball so I thought that was fair. Can't remember the other one :S We wish you the best of luck next season and wouldn't be too surprised to see you get promoted, I reckon your experience in your squad has been the catalyst for your strong late run - something that we're lacking. We will definitely have to strengthen with 2/3 quality players at least in the summer if we are to make a push next season, especially as we could be losing our keeper, our centre-back (captain) and right back to University duties - but i'm sure the gaffer will be praying they go to a Uni nearby!!

Nah wasnt playing 4-3-3 or 4-5-1 lol! yeah think we had alot of posession and territorial possesion but just wasnt clicking up front. The introduction of sy herbert gave us a different dimension upfront and proved to be the difference. Yeah 2 lads With Mahoosive throws on em! Only just got kyieth maynard back playing again but can launch it from half way line quite easily! Fair do's on our first disallowed goal, i wasnt very close but maybe sundays ref did get one decision right. Think a promotion would be a big ask for us after being relegated 3 divisions last year. Dont think it will do the club any good being shifted straight back up after one year, especially as we will be losing 5 players. Another rebuilding job to be done in the summer Also we have lost and drew many games with teams up and down the division. Teams that promotion contenders should be beating. Yeah just think your missing a couple of players and you could do very well next season. Had two tough games with you boys so good luck for your last game and hopefully see you next season

Good game from both sides on Sunday, we had a definite make shift team with me playing in Goal for the 1st time. The rest of the lads really tried without much luck to break down the team, we did have a few good chances with 1 being saved off the line and the keeper making 1 or 2 good saves.
Well done to our 1st team on another win - which is 4 out of 5
The A team unfortunately out played and out classed in every area apparently.
