Same old story, missed chances , 2 offside goals which one for sure was fine and would have won us the game. Hit self destruct with 5 to go. Gave away a stupid penalty and conceded a sloppy third 2 minutes later although a great strike!
Dominated most of the game with oak having two good spells either side of the break. In fairness they are a better side than the table suggests and will pick up points. Not the best footballing side we have played but a good team spirit and did exactly what the wheel did to us, wound us up.
look forward to the return game and you taking points off others. Good luck for the season.

| Disappointing today but we knew it was going to be tough. It didn't help when people let us down half hour before kick off, our keeper gets injured and play 70 mins with 10 men.
Take nothing away from Saff good bunch of lads n play some lovely stuff.
Back to the drawing board for us.

Ur behavior to the ref was awful and I was surprised u didn't receive any reds. U was only on top for the first 20 then we settled and we're by far the better.team. The result proves this

However you can't possibly agree that those goals were offside, the first a strike from 20 yards, even the ref couldn't explain it after. The battle of the Wigston sides today and in truth I think we deserved the win. 0-0 until the last 15 minutes when I scored, AC then had to commit men and try and equalise, fortunately we hit them on the counter, i crossed the ball for Ellis Millins to tap home. Cracking result. Bring on Magna!

Fair play mate. we all thought the ref was good today. Not just because we won. Iv praised refs in recent weeks when we have been beaten but personally thought Gordon had a good game today. I was in line with ur two players who broke away and for some reason the player passed it. The player was without doubt in an offside position. For the disallowed goal, our linos put his flag up as ur player was in an offsidea position. It was up to the ref to decide whether he was close enough to be interfering with play. As he was impairing the vision of. Our keeper then this is obviously offside as interfered with play. Those r my views on the incidents but im sure have a different opinion

| Good game today played in the right spirit, won't comment on the ref as it wont go down too well, how u can give offside for a 20yard shot that's gone through a bunch of defenders is beyond me. Things weren't helped by our 2 centre halfs coming off injured shortly after replacing the left back. Ah well look forward to the return fixture! | |

| Good win today for Carnaby's against NPE, who were barely recognisable from the team we played in the cup last year. Started off very well, knocking the ball around, and going ahead after about 20 mins, then started to get a bit impatient or took the foot off the pedal, knocking the ball longer without any real reward. 2nd half was a bit more even, though not many chances created, before we went 2-0 up midway through the 2nd half. NPE scored with about 10-15 minutes to go, making for a tense finish, and they put on a bit more pressure without having any real clear cut chances, and we missed the chance to hit them on the break. | |

lukasz got his debut goal for us today after his transfer from Glen Parva. Was an awesome finish - volley first time from a corner. we were superb first half and perhaps deserved a bit more than a 1-0 lead. fair play to webbys they outplayed us 2nd half and got the deserved equaliser. we were hanging on for a bit but a draw was about right, pleased with the result as they did us 5-3 in this game last year, and we have improved since then. Tabaka will be a massive difference for us, and will worry plenty of defences this season

| Mivan-3 FC Hoskins-6
So proud of our lads today! Worked for each other all game and never stopped!
before the game we all agreed to go out and have a go. We would rather lose 10-nil and have a go at them rather than do nothing and accept the inevitable. A set peice and a deflected shot put them 2-0 up and then Rav Dhillon bagging to pull one back. Another set peice and we went in 3-1 down which was in out veiw underserved.
Second half hoskins came out quick and a few set peices later it was 5-1, however we were creating chances the whole time and never gave it. about 75 mins we scored 2 in 2 minutes and it was 5-3. We then hit the post and the bar before hoskins despatched a "quick free kick" although the ref didnt blow his whistle to start the game again which was frustrating. However no doubt Hoskins deserved the win but we really gave everything we had and never stopped! Its these kind of results that can you bring you closer as a team.
Good luck to Hoskins, was good to se a few old faces and the game was played in really good spirits!

| MDH 3 - 0 Magna Probably upset a few alliance accumulators here. It was a strange game really, we took a punt with a change of shape (helped from a few players not making it out of bed) and it seemed to work. Magna had the best of the opening exchanges but the few imes we ventured over the halfway line we looked a little dangerous. Lee Stevens broke the deadlock after the keeper was unable to hold a Dave Brennan strike and going into half time 1 up without really playing gave the lads some real confidence. Again Magna started brighter although the workrate shown by the lads to cut out chances was great. With half an hour left a fantastic counter attack saw Brennan double the lead and shortly after Lee Perry had the chance to put it to bed but missed the penalty as an unlucky Magna player handled in the box. Magna continued to have possession and started to build pressure but nothing quite went for them, knowing as we do their cretive options it just never quite came together and at the other end Brennan headed his second as Magna commited men forward. Just again highlights the competitiveness of the league but best of luck to Magna, a fantastic start to their season and we wish them all the best. | |

started off as normal with the foxes on the front foot from the start of the game we had numerous chances to go in front we eventually went 1-0 up before conceding a penalty and it being 1-1 we dominated again and went in to ht 3-2 dennis roe then came across demanding team photos at ht which.had an effect on the game with no more goals...
All in all a less than confortable win for the foxes but keeps us on the trail of gutho

I believe gordon is a fair ref and a fair man, he dedicates a lot of time so that we can play the game we love and putting up with a lot of rubbish along the way so for me the guy should be shown the respect he deserves! As for the lino I will only say that I don't know the guy so can't comment on his morales or his ability to run the line! | that's the best post i've read all week, well done. If clubs just looked at themselves instead of blaming refs / linesmen etc. etc. the game would so much better for it. as a ref, one of the worst things about any game is the constant moaning about opposition linesmen. far fewer actually 'cheat' than people realise. and i've often watched a game from a sideline when a striker hurls some abuse at a linesman when he was 2 yards offside!

Not taking anything away from them at all but you Lino was terrible as agreed by some of your players. That aside look forward to the return game and you taking points off others. Good luck for the season. The traditional Number 1 Harboroughs copy and paste excuse!!
Well done Oak, your lino was fine with us last week. Haha well said whiteeagles. Our linos a top bloke and cant cheat and wont cheat

4-0 up with twenty to go and a blatant dive gifted them a penalty (apologies from their manager and ref after). Then hit self destruct and struggled to hang on after not having a single shot to save for 70 mins! Not a bad bunch but they really need to sort their blatant cheating out, both linos where embarrassing. At one point their manager ran over to their lino and told him to pack it in. Apologies after but they really need to sort it out ruined the game and will ruin more games unless it's sorted. Pleased with the 3 points but 4-3 is very flattering for them. lol love it, lino and ref were cheats. We hit self destruct... heard it all before lol firstly I disagree with number1s comments about lino and ref I think gordon had a good game, he did make a few mistakes but so does howard webb! The only blame today lies with the players on the pitch if we had concentrated on putting the ball in the net instead of getting on the ref and each others backs! I think royal oak are a very solid unit they worked hard for their win today and fully deserved it! As captain I was disgusted with the attitude shown today and after speaking with the manager I can say changes are going to made to how our clubs run from today! Well done royal oak on a fully deserved win. Why couldn't u have been that honest when we beat u hahahaha great to see your not making excuses though fella all credit to you I was honest when u beat us, I always give an honest opinion and what I said then stands!

| Wheel 3-2 city of Leicester
Hawes x 2 Willows
Well what can I say ummmmmm lol we had a few missing today and our star centre half had to go on goal but it could and should have been alot more we made hard work of it we were cruising at 3-1 into half time after being 1 down we hit back with 2 great goals by Hayden hawes and a bit of a scrappy one by willows (but they all count). Into the second half we started well and willows nearly bagged a second from about 40 yards which was heading straight into the top corner and there keeper pulled of a great save to scrape it out for a corner. After that we stopped as we for some reason only known by ourselfs we obviously thought it was over and they hit us on the break quite blatantly off side aswell just like there first but if the red don't give it tough luck on our behalf!!!! That made for a interesting last 10 but we held on to secure the win. Best of luck to city of Leicester great set of lads and never stopped working.
