Div 8, no idea with so many new teams, hopefully us!!!

Not going to comment on our division but I think Lutterworth club will be a team to watch in Div 8

After watching Pochin spank us on Sunday and seeings they've a few old players back I can see them being there or there abouts. They were better than some Division 1 teams we played last season.

Division 4 to be between Friar Lane and Pukka Pie's. Were impressed with Pukka Pie's pre season.

Division 6 has to be Trinderbox for me. Couple of very good additions there and should be playing at a higher level.

Division 8 Blaby Foxes. Especially with their new midfield general bossing things!

I see that St Marks only beat Lakeside FC 2-1 (really a Div 7 side ????) or did St Marks only have 6 players

Prem - star and garter or mowarcre and Hoskins

Div 1 - Oadby, can see gaunt being up there

Div 2 - athletic Oadby

Div 3 - LBT, got some class players there

Div 4 - Sporting birstall or maybe thurnby

Div 5 - can see this as a tough one, going with gaunt reserves though, few of my mates play there all very good players


Div 6 - if it's the same AFC Beaumont lads I used to play with a while back then I can see these winning it quite easy

Div 7 - won't comment

Div 8 - baby foxes I'd go with

Pochin ain't winning poor. Bunch of alliance league has beens. I watched a game they played against a very average team and they got beat easily. I'd guess the youngest player they had was about 30. Really struggled after half time due to old age in my opinion, it's embarrassing that they have been put in div 3, look more like a mid table div 5 side to me

Shut up you bell......yeah we might all be 30 ish, but between us we have won everything you can win in the entire alliance league, div 3 is wise old owl level of football.......and we will smash it.....I'll be shocked if we drop more than 6 points all season.

We've been rightly relegated to division 3 because we were awful last year and for ridiculously being bumped up 3 divisions for winning division 5 the year before.

By rights we should actually now be in division 4.

Got to say I'm surprised at some of the teams that are in the higher divisions, looks as if there is a lack of quality compared to previous seasons

True, there is a vaccuum at the top end but still some good sides about. But makes it surprising why there is still a lot of resistance with some of these sides not wanting to play in a slightly higher division

well well the pochin banter has started,at least it livens up the forum
as for trying to mislead the commitee nath, i registered 12 players by the 31st of july deadline,
and ten more before the final constitution was decided, so morley was aware of all of our signings
of those signings 6 have left 1 has not yet turned up for any friendly and 2 more have bad injuries
which leaves us with 13 players at the moment,in fact our final friendly we started with just ten players,
so any over 30's has beens who fancy a challenge please get in touch
i think the commitee have made the right decision to drop us down a division and royal oak 2 divisons as both teams struggled badly with a 3 division promotion, we played with 9 and 10 players on a regular basis and and had numerous fines and didn't fold and i'm sure royal oak were the same, so both teams had proper reasons for wanting a demotion,
unlike some other teams who had some pathetic excuses for not wanting to play in the division they were put in,
as per morleys reading out of their e-mails at the handbook meeting
also perhaps the teams who had not registered a single player even by the handbook meeting need to be looked at as to what they are trying to do

The prem is rubbish there's only Star who are decent since Advance Courriers and prem sports wrapped up it's not the best. As for Pochin's I think the only way to tell is judge them on results but I think they will be champions iv seen them play and they have some very good players who I recognise iv played against some of them before in the premier division the had a donkey up front though think his name was Mark Graham

I'm only joking, Mark Graham is one of the best center forwards this league has had in the last ten years, and I've what I've seen he makes a decent Center back aswell! If he plays every week for Pochins, he will get 30+ goals this season along side Ross Clafferty.

Only if he manages to stay on the pitch long enough......

I thought you had finished a few years ago, got carried in the Pochin title winning season

Serious note if Pochin can get the team out they will be there or there about, lets be honest pre season doesn't mean anything, a lot of questions about what teams people can get together will be answered this weekend

If Pochin's do get there full side out they will p*** the league without a doubt

Like I said, bunch of OLD has beens, Pochin won't win a thing, be lucky to win a game let alone the league
