Phoenix united

After alot of discussion by players and managment it has been decided that phoenix united will fold as a football team. After a fantastic 6 years in the alliance with many memories we feel the time has come. We would like to thank the alliance league for all their hard work and commitment and may it continue for years to come.

On behalf of the players massive thanks goes out to kim ablett and josh dixon for their support and hardwork throughout the last few years. We gave it a good crack and had a brilliant time.

Also thanks to all the teams that we have faced. You cant play the game without opposition. Weve had some incredible BANTER over the seasons (some we will never forget)

Shame to see you go and on behalf of LK United we wish all involved the very best.

We still talk about the fantastic 5 - 3 game in the County Cup and how you were the best team we faced that season.

We had 2 good games against you last year and thought with your youthful
set up you would only get better.
Wheres most your players going to.

Think most the lads will stick to playing saturdays but will probably leave sundays for a while. Cant say that for all the players but not sure all will continue on a sunday anymore. Shame as they would have been a force in a couple of years but thats what happens. It was good while it lasted

sad loss, knew a lot of the players who were top lads. And Kim was a fantastic club secretary who pretty much set the standard for all the others to follow
