| So which Alliance team approached the League for a postponement - citing Valentines Day celebrations as the reason? | |

| Wigston Rangers 7 Horse 3
Finally got the majority of our team out today and played some really good football. Very nice to score a few goals and we can hopefully cause a few upsets with the games we have left. Fair play to Horse they kept going and got their rewards, a good bunch and played in the right spirit. Excellently reffed as well.

| Cossington 2 - 4 Meridian Athletic
What a graft today! We going 1-0 up, then into the half winning 2-1. Cossington equalising again and ten minutes later we took the lead with 20 minutes to go. At 3-2, we were on the backfoot with Cossington having plenty of shots, leading to a double save from our keeper.2 minutes to go and we countered securing all three points!!!
A draw would have been a great result today with plenty of our first teamers out. to take all three points is amazing.

| Webbys 5 Phoenix 2 Good first half for us going 5_1 up and could have been more but they had most of possession second half without creating many chances goals from christian Patrick 2 and Danny poultney 3.

| Wigston 4-0 Oak Possibly our worst performance of the season first half. After a couple of alterations come half time we managed to make it competitive in the second half but we were missing something upfront. Wigston had about 4 or 5 different players from last week and the new lad they signed upfront definitely was a big factor in their win who I thought scored two but yet he isn't on the score sheet strange that one Wigston Defended well and scored a couple of good goals. Their tactics of getting into the refs ear before kick off worked wonders throughout the game I might try that one in future if it works as good as that! Roll on the Summer!!! | |

| Aths 5 Mountsorrel 0.
Again - turned it on, with a massive win for us. Sets us up nicely for a game against Leicester Foxes next Sunday. Pitch was terrible, wasn't even marked out - made it a nightmare for the linesmen to make the calls. Surely the County FA realize that the first drawn club to play at home doesn't work?
Playing wise, I thought we dominated in large parts of the game, took us a while to find the 2nd goal but just kicked on from there. Delighted for the club - massive turn around from last season.
Best two footballing sides in Division 3 take each other on on Thursday April 2nd. Look forward to seeing you all there.

I am sure they do but with 60 semi finals to be arranged and the problems finding neutral grounds I can't see this changing anytime soon

| United Revolution 5-3 North Kilworth
Not a great performance by any stretch of the imagination for us. We started slowly and took too long to get into the game for the first half an hour we looked rushed in possession and failed to keep our shape without the ball. Kilworth took the lead but we got an equaliser and then went ahead quickly after, once we made it 3-1 it looked like we would push on, for some reason it just didn't click. We need to improve but still played some good football at times. Goals from Warren Ball (2), Jim Markley (2) and Sam Hyatt.
