Fosse City

Fosse are looking for a new secretary to take control of all the goings on at the club off field. At the moment we're struggling to find a volunteer within the current group.

We have a solid squad of about 15 or 16 players who have said they are happy to remain next season, whether we stay in the Premiership or not.

The worry for us that if we don't find ourselves a new sec we will have to fold the club, which would be a massive shame considering how far we've come since formation in 2004.

Does anyone know of anyone who might be interested in taking on this role from next season? Preferably with experience within The Alliance League.

Or does anyone have any advice on how to go about finding a new secretary rather than posting on here!?

Good advice, ok we're basically looking for someone to be our point of contact for the league (meetings and emails etc.) and to sort out everything financially including pitch and referee payments, fines and collecting cash on a match day.

Could the financial and paperwork duties be split? The two would need to have a good working relationship and ideally both need to be present on match day.

Cheers for the advice..That's sorta the case now to be honest. The current sec does 80% of the running of the club but is looking to pass his workload on as he now has twin boys to keep him busy. I do the rest but can't commit to more as I'm rarely around due to work commitments.

There might be the potential for any new secretary to bring his / her own manager with them as a little sweetener!
