Close game, low on quality on our part, but at 3-2 down and chasing the game they countered to seal it. Much improved side from last season are Friar Lane, I'd like to think we made them work hard today.

Shout out to Martin Dexter on his refereeing (because he asked me to!), always a pleasure to be reffed by him though.

We were very lucky to come away with a win today and CFA extremely unfortunate not to get something out of the game. We just didn't turn up, they had more fight, desire and hunger all over the pitch and maybe some complacency on our part.

But somehow we dug in and came back from being behind twice to snatch the win. We need to draw a line under it and move on to the next game.

Special mention to CFA though, a great bunch of lads who play football in the right way and work extremely hard for each other. Very surprised their not doing better in the league. They're a credit to the Alliance. Good luck for the rest of the season lads.

Great win for the Phoenix lads today!!! 11 on the bounce and 12 unbeaten. We were 5-1 up with 20 left to go. Then they scored 3 and we thought here we go! But we dug in and scored with 40 secs left in the clock to seal the victory. Good result. Both teams should have scored more if I'm honest. Ref was a bit strange but a good laugh.
MDH are a good bunch of lads and never gave up. Good luck for the rest of the season.

Simply unplayable 1st half today and went in 5-0 up. Included in the goals were a 30 yarder from Joey and a screamer from Jordan.

Became a bit wasteful and lacklustre 2nd half but still created lots more chances leaving the watching on Shane Jackson chomping at the bit.

Happy with our 4th clean sheet on the bounce too.

A word for Chris Durrance who this week has suffered flu, short sightedness, headaches, diarrhoea (verbal), an ingrown toe nail, dizziness and fatigue to turn up and play for us - legend

WPR 4 Inter Mivan 3

another slow start from WPR conceding within the first 10 mins, maybe this was the wake up we needed in our first game since before Christmas. WPR then turned the game on its head with a quick fire double taking us to 2-1 up, Inter Mivan then scored just before half time taking the game to 2- 2 at half time. Inter Mivan then went 3 - 2 up with a lovely strike from out side the area, but WPR fought back with another a 3rd for Easton Wightman and a lovely lob by Scotty G to win us the match!

7 unbeaten now for WPR and will continue to climb the league.

thank you. compared to our zero corners, yes it was a funny old game!

Fosse dominated us for the first 25 minutes, and corner after corner came at us before we woke up a bit. Spider in goal was superb - he got to the bulk of the corners and we defended well from front to back. we scored totally against the run of play with pretty much our first attack, taking advantage of a defensive mix up. must have been frustrating for Fosse to go in 1-0 down at the break as apart from hitting the back of the net they did nothing wrong and clearly were scratching their heads working out how on earth they were losing! second half we went 2-0 up after about 5 minutes in, and I think the goals just came at the right times to frustrate the hell out of Fosse. Both goals seemed to floor them as it took the sting out of the game, and I think when we went 3-0 up with 20 to go they sensed they just weren't going to get anything out of the game. I thought we were much better second half, and as a team it was our best performance of the season - yes, we were dominated first 25 but its not all about scoring - you have to put bodies on the line and defend as if your lives depend on it and that's what we did.

it's the first time we've ever beaten Fosse who have been our bogey side for many years and we've had a lot of bad luck at their place with a 4-4 and a 3-3 springing to mind, both games which saw us done out of wins at the death. so perhaps we deserved a bit of luck for once!

well reffed by Graham Freer I thought, and always a good game against Fosse who we have a lot of time for, good lads and play the right way. all the best for the rest of the season
