| I remember seeing this topic a few years ago, back in the day of Twenty20 (Hellboy).
What's the best starting 11 that you could make from the teams in your division?
For me it would be:
Goalkeeper: Warren - Sparta Moshdock
Left Back: Danum - Wigston Car Breakers
Centre Back - Steve Morley - Sparta Moshdock
Centre Back - Ross Lavin - Star & Garter
Right Back - Pez Johnno - Advanced Couriers
Left Mid - Louis Hamilton - Prem Sports
Centre Mid - Tom Hill - Wigston Car Breakers
Centre Mid - Lee Barratt - Wigston Car Breakers
Right Mid - Levi Porter - Wigston Car Breakers
Centre Forward - George Himan - Star & Garter
Centre Forward - Aaron Preston - Sparta Moshdock
Thoughts? | |

| Levi Porter is not the best right winger. He's only overated because he was once on Leicesters books, and now look where he is. There are better right wingers in the alliance league. | |

| got to agree, porter was very average when we played them. An ex pro should stand out even if they are a bit older, i had to have him pointed out, very average. Flynny at advance is quality when on form and i rate him better. | |

You make it sound Levi is old Widds when he is only 25

You make it sound Levi is old Widds when he is only 25 jees, then that's very poor. I think our three wingers are better to be honest!

| I think the thing with levi is he completely fell out of love with the game and literally stopped playing altogether before car breakers got him going again and he's only just started saturdays again! I've seen him a few times and you never stand back and think wow he's just skinned 5 players or done an audacious bit of skill but its the other things he does like find the simple pass, the right pass most of the time!! If he gets fully fit and interested then he'll be unplayable | |

| I wouldn't like to guess our divisions best 11 as I've not seen most of the teams but so far I'd expect rich edwards gk, dean and lewis edwards both defenders, leon thraves tony fitzptrick and louis finney neckles all to be in with a shout from our team! Then you've got jake wainer from foxes, leon coleman from nri, enderbys forwards (don't know there name) dave coleman from hoskins, ryan basset hoskins! I didn't see our game against barca so can't comment bout their players | |

I could easily pick at least 4 players from FC Pochin for this but in the interests of being unbiased;
GK - Leicester Bharat Talbot Keeper
RB - Carl Parsons (Birstall Rangers) CB - Monsell WMC Skipper CB - Ray Winters (Birstall Rangers) LB - Yella (Leicester Bharat Talbot)
RM - Ash Varnham (Huncote, Sunday Reserves) CM - Ross Griffin (Mark J Rees) CM - Brad Downing (LDA Spartans) LM - Joe Geary (Humberstone 2000)
CF - Kev Jones (Monsell WMC) CF - Will Gonga (Leicester Bharat Talbot)
Apologies to the 2 lads whose names I don't know

| Alright lads, thanks for making me feel slightly awkward about the whole Levi comment. Feel a bit bad now after all the 'he's such a nice lad' stuff.
Obviously I'm using reverse psychology by saying he's not that good just to spur him on to rediscover his old form, as he's such a bloody nice bloke.

He'd be in my team everytime along with Joe Geary in Midfield. Will Gonga quality too. Should be as he plays East Mids Counties level on Saturdays with Thurnby Nirvana

Aran 'Azza' Leacock (FC Pochin) Kev Jones (Monsell WMC) Will Gonga (Leicester Bharat Talbot) Mark Gifford (Humberstone 2000) Nathan Rutter (Niffy Rangers Reserves) Dan Mitchell (Wigston Rangers) Danny McNulty (Clarendon Park Rangers)

Rutters a thug, perhaps once a decent forward, wudnt say so now in my opinion, probably do better in a boxing ring. Dan Mitchell would probably be good as widds said div 2/div 3. If he is the right one did Danny McNulty used to play for Hurricanes in div 1 when they were about? i would say if it is thats his standard. Kev Jones is a goalscorer and this season has been quality as the stats show as has Azza, Az to his credit has never really played Sunday mornings until last season when he signed for us, if he found a side who would play to his strengths im sure he wud do well. Gonga's a good lad, but id say highest div 1. Gifford has always scored goals in the alliance whoever he played for, i think with any forward you give them the service they'll do the rest, i think if Humbo were having a better season, Gifford would be well and truly up there. Whether he can play top end football im not too sure, having maybe only see him play once in person, im merely going off stats.

| I've been playing out of my natural midfield position until last Sunday and have therefore had the misfortune of having to mark all but Gifford this season. Even with him I can recall covering as sweeper for Birstall against Humbo 3 or 4 years ago.
Obviously and fortunately I haven't had to try and mark Azza but some of the things I have seen him do and some of the goals he's scored this year have been unbelievable.
I just think at Sunday morning level, a goalscorer is a goalscorer and these lads normally all get 30+ goals a season. Yes they would be playing against better defenders but as Widds said, they will also be playing with better players creating more chances.
In all the years I was at Es Cana, I can honestly say I don't remember seeing many much better than the 7 lads I've mentioned. I'm not saying they would be the prem's top scorer but like I said they wouldn't look out of place.
