Ben your spot on with your account of the game, it was a really close game and well balanced. Yes he is a centre half, our keeper Luke did his hammy a couple of weeks ago but i agree he made some great saves. We deffo found it hard, second half particually as we dint have a recognised striker and the ball semmed to keep coming back. You made a great save from wilksy in second half which in the pub he told us was destined for the top bag lol. I was very relieved to see my shot go in near the end as i would of died in extra time. Good luck for the rest of the season.

wigston 1 -0 mjr

the lads played very well today such a difference from last week. they battled until the last minute where disco dean took on 3 players and fired it into the net!! lads were absolutely gutted!! good luck to wigston in the next round

Wigston saw out the game after that comfortably and continue to grow in confidence. Credit to the opposition they worked hard and played well in spells, but a player refusing to shake one of our players hands and instead hitting him was a low point. Other than those two players every other cska player played there part in giving us a good game.

The above result worries me greatly. There is no way Magna 73 should be losing 12 no matter how good the oppo is. I know they had Ogden and Cartwright missing yesterday and Steve O and Jimmy Markham injured but still, they should have had a side out to compete with a Div 1 side.

I knew this would be the case, I messed up big time, failing to notify the opposition and the referee until the morning of the game due to being stupid which led to telling of from Simon Harris and trust me know one wants to be in that situation lol, we had no keeper (I would have played but like I said I was 5% conscious) so Kieran had to go in goal, even Barnet kitted up. The game itself was dominated by Prem Sports but I was only there in spirit, I went in the clubhouse for an hour during the game to sleep!!

you need to get an early night Saturdays Kev, it's clearly taking its toll on you these days

The way the game started I thought Mivan was going to be in for a tough ride because they couldn't seem to control their striker, who had a good game. Mivan went 1 down but never let their heads drop, and quickly soon equalized with a good finish. Pochin took the lead again but again it was short lived as Mivan levelled shortly after, before Pochin went in at the break3-2 ahead.

The second half started quite slow but soon burst into life when Mivans keeper made a mistake to put Pochin 4-2 up, this seem to fire Mivan up for a comeback, especially the tall white lad (who was playing attacking midfield I think) he really came to life and had a storming game. Great comeback and a thoroughly entertaining match. The ref looked like she had a pretty decent game aswell.

Best of luck to both teams for the remainder of the season and I will look forward to seeing you both in action again.

Cheers mate, was a very good game of football and a good one to be playing in. Both teams were very evenly matched and just think we wanted it a little bit more than Pochin on the day. Scott Pestall who was the centre mid you were referring to was a different class and produces performances like that every week. I think we gave their strikers a little bit too much respect in the first half but didnt give them a sniff in the second half (apart from the one i gifted Shaun but managed to recover lol).

Pochin are a good side and think if they get their heads down and play football then they could be a force. They argued with each other quite alot throughout the game.

But if they both now say 6-1 fair enough....goal scorers russ douglas 1 luke towers 2 paul leaver 1 chris bell 1 dan roberts 1 sorry for any confusion.
