| cska 2 oadby owls 2 oadby will be kicking themselves today. should have scored at least 5! went 1 nil up but didn't control the game at all. conceded 2 from set pieces but then right at the end scored to equalise. pleased with the point keeps us unbeaten. 2 goals from cheadle. oadbys movement was great and another day they could have hit double figures. | |

| another slow start by kilworth reserves resulted in us going 2-0 nil down and on the balance of play we were lucky to get in 2-2 at half time but that all changed in the second half and we knocked the ball around like we normally do scoring some great goals in the end another good performance from the over 30s lol resulting in a great 6-2 win | |

| Countesthorpe 0 - Wigston Fields 3 Mark Allen hatrick but generally this is the worst WF have played all season. Pitch had lumps of grass all over it and it stopped the WF passing game, massive room for improvement over the coming months but yet again a clean sheet!! Only the blip against CSKA Sporting for shipping goals,if this team can only start to finish off the chances that are being created.

| So today Blaby in Div 7 went 2 - 0 up in the first half against Kilworth reserves and we dominated the whole half, only for a couple of blunders to allow kilworth to get to goals back before the first half ended. Second half came along and although blaby were winning everything ion the air and passing well our haunting spell of only being able to score 2 goals per game continued. Then after blaby tried to push to far we did what we have been doing lately and conceeded 2 quick goals. at 4-2 our heads dropped and we conceeded another 2. 1 was an very suspect penalty but the score could have been worse had one of the kilworth players not missed more or less an open goal from 3 yards.
I think blaby were the better team but missed chances proved we still need to improve.
Good game between both teams, played with the right spirit. Look forward to the reverse fixture.

| LBT got beat 3-2 by a Monsell WMC who were not exactly what was expected. We were 1-0 up at half time having run the 1st half very well. Monsell then got back into the game following a scrap in the box and then went 2-1 up following a goal which was clearly flagged off side by the Lino. Talbot got back in the game with a goal which was (also) probably off side. Monsell then got the 3rd which was a little too much for LBT to come back from. Talbot deserved a point at least from this having squandered many chances to increase the lead before half time. We can be proud of what we achieved, if nothing else we have sent a message to the rest of the league! Good Luck for the season to the Monsell lads! | |

i think they would have held on to the win anyway but conceding in that way is very annoying

| Aylestone Athletic 2-2 White Eagles
Todor Beric Danilo Trifunovic
We started slowly and Aylestone won an early penalty, but I guessed correctly and saved the penalty. A defensive mix up then allowed us to take the lead (we were going downhill and with the wind first half on a very small pitch). I had to pull off one save right before half time but other than that, neither side really created much first half. Second half, Aylestone came out of the blocks much quicker again and scored early to make it 1-1. Both sides created decent chances before Aylestone went through on goal, I made a save from the 1-on-1 but didn't get enough on to it and the ball dribbled into the net to make it 2-1 to Aylestone. The lads then got stuck in and dug deep as we were now against the wind and hill, creating several clear chances before we eventually stuck one away to make it 2-2. Was frustrating towards the end as it seemed when ever we hit Aylestone on the counter attack, our players were just getting hacked down.
Aylestone are another good side though and I fully expect them to be top 4/5 comfortably this season and gave us a very good and entertaining match. Best of luck to Aylestone, good bunch of lads.

| NPE 5-1 Desford: We are more than happy with today's result. We were worried today when are keeper got injured yesterday and we had to put are player of the year ( left winger in goal) this on top of 4 other players missing. It was a decent game and Desford started well but heads seemed to drop after we scored. They got a goal just before half time to make it 3 -1 and brought fresh legs on second half but we managed to get a couple more goals to seal the win. Not a bad start to the season for us considering been put up two divisions. Good luck for rest of season Desford lads on pitch were top class | |

| Polska 3 Aylestone 1.
Over the moon with our start to the season, 9 points from 3 tough games but they are tough every week! We were 3-0 up at half time, and it was realistically game over at the break, although we should have been further in front but the Aylestone keeper was decent.
Second half we did drop off the pace, and also got tired. Coupled with giving the subs a good run out Aylestone pulled one back with 7 minutes to go and sensed something might be in the game for them but left it too late and you can't give teams a 3 goal lead and get away with it. They then got a penalty in the 88th minute but it was superbly saved by Andzrej.
Aylestone are good going forward but do have holes at the back, good luck to them for the season. Thought ref had a very decent game, on to next week where we face (another) tough game - this time against MDH. They lost today but we are not taking them lightly and just need to concentrate on our own game.

Was not happy with the free kick first half which Mivan scored from. To be penalised for a hand ball when your just two yards away is farcical. The Mivan player flicked it up and hit our player on the hand. There was no movement towards the ball. Mivan though went ahead which changed the game as we had to chase it leaving us exposed for the second goal. We managed to hit the bar twice again Really missed 4 players today including our keeper. Shud be at full strength next week. Well done to Mivan you took your chances and were very strong at the back. Were my favourites for the league and that hasn't changed ( sorry Nugent but u got this one wrong :/ )

| FC Pochin 3 v 1 Mark J Rees (HT 1-0)
We were short on numbers again today, 3 players in America and 3 also out injured from our game last Sunday! Had 12 players including the welcome return of Rio (although he ended up having to go in goal).
As it turned out the scoreline was probably not a true reflection based on chances created, on another day we could have had 7 or 8.
That said, MJR looked dangerous at times and do attack in numbers. They have obviously regrouped since their 1st couple of games and will give plenty of teams a run for their money. The signing of Paulo is a really good move for them, he always scores against my teams and today was no different! He will make them a better team and I fully expect them to get even better as the season goes on.
A decent start to the season for us at Pochin, 3 wins from 4 and a healthy goal difference - I'd have taken that before the season started.
We now move on to Dan and Wigston next week, hopefully the manager will have more players back. Although the keeper is still definitely out and the 3 lads are still on holiday.
Good luck to Paulo and MJR for the rest of the season, good bunch of lads

Don't know who he was and came on second half but kept his flag down for Polska's second goal, 100% any other opposition linesman would have flagged for offside (it did look offside but he was adamant it wasn't), well played and a credit to your club

Not an awful amount of chances for either side. Seems like we like to hit the bar too often lately! Mivan had a couple of White lads in the middle of the park who looked good and also one of the centre backs. I think it's a bit out of our reach now.
