DIVISION 3

Just had a look at the Constitution again and Division 3 is only showing 9 teams now ???

I know Sporting Wigston and Humberstone Rangers have now gone but who else has vanished ???

Also are the league looking to get these gaps filled ???

humberstone legion legends have gone. And yes, these resignations will mean some adjustments to divisions before the season starts

speaking to Kev at game yday suggested one down from 3 and one up from 4.... just have to wait and see who they are i guess

Wouldn't that leave us with one less team than the other divisions. My only concern then is that we have two New teams in division 3 which is a risk. As long as the clubs coming in to division 3 are well established that's fine.

what option does the league have if no more teams want to come in

Could be worse Widds 8 of the sides in our division next year will be new. Fantastic.

now that is a risk!!

its not always new teams that go belly up. the 3 that dropped out recently were not new teams. sometimes new teams are full of enthusiasm (and players!) and its often the seasons after that cause them problems

Ouch. That might be a few too many teams not to expect one to be a bit dodgy

Just bosh all of um all up, 20 team div 2, play each other once, 19 game league season. Then to make up the shortfall of league game due a cup comp within the div, sommat like the Arthur Moore, 4 groups of 5 teams top 2 thru to quater finals
