Christmas is looming - are the festivities taking a toll yet?

Lakeside United beat South Wigston 5-4 away in the Billy Walton Cup after being 5-0 up. A supreme performance by each and every one of the lads on the pitch. South Wigston thought back in the last 20 minutes to dampen our spirits but we clung on to cause possibly one of the biggest cup upsets this season! Goal scorers were Dan Coleman, Dan Rai, Callum Sankey (2) and Will Dilieto. Declan Sankey claims man of the match with a solid performance at the back!

a fantastic achievement, well done. As for the giant killings there have been 12 today where teams from divisions lower have beaten higher placed opponents!

3 premiership sides have been knocked out, but the biggest 'upset' was the 6 division swing that saw Broughton Astley put out Magna Town
