Div 7 January 20th - weather permitting!

Tightest game we played against Wigston fields this season. Although we didnt create any clear cut chances you deserved the win

Hello there to all my forum friends. According to the weather forecast it's gonna snow fri-mon which is pain cuz be no games again. We are due to play Countesthorpe I can see them causing us an upset. With this poxy weather is it likely games will get scheduled for midweek later in the season.

We play for wigston fields

U lads had a gd start to the season. I remember u beat us by a few goals. I'm looking forward to playing u lot again. I think we will beat u lol.

Yea we did a bit but then tailed off and went on a losing streak. Hopefully back to winning ways now. Yea will be a good game. Wasnt too bad the first time, think we just took our chances really and had a bit if confidence

I remember first half we had a lot of the ball and didn't take our chances. Were u the lad who took the penalty? I think it be out of us and u who finish 4th.

Yea that's pretty much how it went. We were fairly decent at soaking up pressure back then ha ha. Erm no that wasnt me. Yea going to be tight for places 3,4,5,6,7,8. Think kilworth and cfa will run away with it then countesthorpe, friar lane and the harrow at the bottom then right in between.

Yeah I think that. We ain't played that NK yet, hope we tuck um away lol, but we have Countesthorpe x2, u, plough x2 (we beat them in the cup), cska carnally and friar lane. Fixtures not too bad on paper.

Easy run in apart from our game v u. 6 wins out of 8 i'd say.

Wigston Fields

Might be bit tough from where fccol are to finish fourth I think, playing well though and in form but might be too late I feel. 3rd and 4th between the two Cska us and wigston fields I think. Think midweek games will cost us, I'd say sporting third. With a toss up between wigston and other Cska for final promotion spot.

I feel everyone will be hit by the midweek games, work commitments, general tiredness after a days work and other commitments in the week. I feel we will finish mid table about 5 or 6, due to us being a new team with inexperience in certain positions. Feel our form just before xmas may cost us dear especially the mauling by FL. We expected to lose to CFA and NKR (both reasonable scorelines in my eyes.........considering the team we had in each game as key players missed either one).
It will be a nice tussle for all the teams going into the final few games!!
The Plough are in a better position as have 3/4 games in hand on teams above so could in all probability go 3rd!!

Very negative here Mr Manager! We're better than Blaby and FCCOL and possibly the plough (though not yet engaged in combat this season).

There's no set rules on promotion/ relegation it generally depends on how many new sides and their standards, i'd guess if NKR and CFA are well clear of the rest they will go up a couple of divisions with the next 2/3 going up to div 6 but it does depend on how many new sides apply for div 7 or if a div 5/6 team is well out of their league to be relegated

I think midweek games will suit us better as our player is always on the dole and won't be hungover haha

Too tight to call, Plough have the games in hand to take 3rd, but not easy cramming games in at the end. think all teams will drop points against each other, really don't think there is much between most teams, just small margins on the day

Friar lane 1-6 cska sporting. Sporting have a good midfield wingers but lack a clinical striker, they brought the number 12 on against us 2nd half and looked brilliant but he couldn't hit a barn door. Friar lane just give up to easy

Wigston fields?-? Nksr. Great bunch of lads that know our team well as with friendlys this is the 4th time we've played them. Some good players in there but just had a bad end to the year but still the best team we've played by a mile so can't predict this one

Plough 2-5 ccr if there's an excuse the plough will use it rather than just get on with it and when we played them they just started with the silly tackles then moaned about us on the forum.
Ccr will be to good for them

We've just played our 10th game so o the team we've played this is my best 11 of the teams we've played I don't know many names sorry so if u can fill them in great

Cm countesthorpe Mitch creighton best player in the league apart from my lads obviously haha
Cm cska sporting number 17 good on the ball and always looked to use it
Rf wigston fields little Chinese looking lad very quick and direct
Lf sporting again don't know his name but he looked very good on Sunday
Cf blaby the lad with the dreads first 20 I thought he tore us to shreds then after they went 2-0 they stopped playing to him so we won 6-2

Very close league with every team taking points of each other can see most places being taken by the odd point or goal difference!
