| Wigston Fields 1 - 1 Blaby United
Wigston robbed with the last kick of the game after a silly error. Have to say though on the balance of play we were extremely lucky to come away with anything in this game. Blaby moved the ball better, created the better chances and could have punished us more. We are not and will not thrash a team or score a hat full of goals but we do tend to have a solid defence which showed again today. Resilient and dicisplined and cleared up most of the balls that came there way, and when it did pass the defence blaby failed to test the keeper enough. Credit to them they kept going and got there reward. I'm just wondering when we will see the best of Wigston and actually play our football as it has not materialised as yet.

| Wigston Rangers/Hoofers/Girls 6-4 Huncote Rez.
We went two nil up early on, only to see us go 4-2 down after failing to deal with their hoof tactics. 4-3 down at ht. Wigston should have been down to ten men after one of their lads totally wipes out our cb with a ridiculously high challenge which was well over knee height. Yet when their lads got the slightest touch they were screaming like girls at the ref for a decision. So embarassing.
Fair play to them for picking themselves up from 2 down though. We destroyed them 2nd half just couldn't find the net thanks to some good saves from their gk.

| LDA 7 - 2 Humbo
Paul Smith 3, Brad Downing 2, Matt Johnson, Steve Spencer
Humbo only had the bare 11, including a limping Gifford.
I think it's fair to say we dominated the first half and should have gone in 3 or 4 up. As it happened it was 0-0 at HT.
Second half started the same but Humbo took the lead against the run of play. They almost doubled it shortly after when we were still in shock but Serdar made a cracking double-save.
We finally scored through Matt Johnson and Paul Smith swiftly put us ahead from a corner. The goals then started to flow. Brad Downing and Steve Spencer got in on the act too, with Humbo grabbing another along the way.
Good performance from us, never really seemed in too much trouble. I expect they'll be a different proposition in the return.

Chris Driver for the adders
What can i say, matched them for 10-15mins,didnt take our chances then found ourselves 3 nil down due to some dismal errors at the back.Heads went down and more mistakes occurred, royalist are a good team and punished us every time we gave them a chance. We were down to 10 men for last 15mins after our sub got injured but the game was well and truly over before this point. The worst we have played for a long while but sure we can bounce back next week.Royalist are a decent side and fully deserved the win,we just dont normally make it that easy.

Game off two halfs we played awesome first half went in three nil up, fair play to Cska they did not let there heads drop and battered us for 45 but could only get one back. Dave ash played well for them and most there good stuff comes through him, tell u what though they like a winge there left winger just screamed for 90 minutes in a high pitched voice moaning at ref us and own players, they also shout(scream) for everything luckily ref ignored most off it a weaker ref might have gave them lots more decisions. Prob the best team we have played so far this season in league, that might change when play nk next week though looking forward to it.

Congrats on your very first win of the season! From our perspective, we played the ball around nicely, retained the ball well and played to our strengths- ie some pace upfront. We changed our approach and that was telling in the first 10 minutes, especially with your first goal which was a decent move that capitalised on our unfamiliarity at the back. We came into the second part of the first half and deserved a lead at HT. (smashing finish for your 3rd- barely got a hand to it). Second half we faced our usually problems of a slightly slow start and another good finish made for a tight second half, but we rallied and scored, then defended well. As for the tackle, I don't think it was nearly as malicious as you make out, the 'dirtbag' as you have so eloquently nicknamed the lad was obviously concerned for your player. Nice dig about the first win- there have been issues that we have had, and also have Monsell out of the way for the season. Hopefully we can push on And continue to play well.

huncote had a bare 11 and no linesman and seemed short of confidence - almost like they didn't fancy it this morning. we weren't much better first half, game lacked a real buzz and for first half was very slow and pretty terrible. we started to come into it and then finally went 1-0 up just before half time with a great goal. added another 4 second half, and pretty comfortable. cosy win for us and we will have harder games but all the best to Huncote for the season. a few moans from them about offsides but all part of the frustration if things are going badly for you. very well reffed by Paul Stones

First of all I think its fair to say neither side were at their strongest today! We were bdly let down by a number of players today but the 11 that played today did very well!! We controlled the 1st 35 mins and were 1-0 up then foxes got back into it and they went in 2-1 up at half time!! 2nd half was more even in my opinion! Our biggest issue today was failure to take all the chances we created.
Also got to say the foxes lads are top lads, came and had a beer after the game and I wish them all the best for the season

| AFC Royal Oak 4-3 White Eagles Milan Ceko (2) Danilo Trifunovic We were down to our bare bones this morning, missing 6 players, all pretty much our attackers which left us with nothing up front. First 30 minutes was a very cagey affair, little chances to either side before Milan Ceko scored a pearler of free kick to put us 1-0 up and we held out until half time. At the beginning of the 2nd half, it looked to be tight again before we broke on a counter attack from an Oak corner to make it 2-0. Not too long after, Danilo Trifunovic robbed one of the Oak centre halfs to go through on goal and put us up 3-0. I wouldn't say it was a deserved lead but neither side had too many chances until then. A long ball over the top from Oak led to me coming out and clattered into one of the Oak strikers. I came out on the wrong end and injured my back but soldiered on. From the resulting throw in, one of our players went to clear the ball which hit the backside of one of our other players and went flying into the top corner! Very unfortunate goal to concede to make it 3-1. Straight from the kick off, Milan Ceko made a darting run and was nearly through on goal before being sythed down by the big Oak centre mid (think it was Dexter?) who had already been booked. Everyone was expecting a 2nd yellow and it never came?!?!! Couldn't believe this decision at all by the referee and you could say it ultimately cost us. Moments later Oak came down the other end won a free kick which bobbled around the box. I went to go for the ball but my back just froze up and an Oak player finished it to make it 3-2 which is when I went off. Our heads dropped and Oak scored another within about 4/5 minutes and held out. Very disappointed today, firstly to throw away a 3 goal lead when Oak looked like they were rarely threatening, secondly with the refs decision not to send Dexter off for a 2nd yellow and thirdly that I'm injured! We'll look to next week though and fair play to the Oak boys and Hairy Hebrew, we'll have you at our place | |

We'll look to next week though and fair play to the Oak boys and Hairy Hebrew, we'll have you at our place Hey up pal! Hope the back isn't too bad!! U was down for quite awhile which was worrying. I was surprised you carried on to be fair. Should of been a Peno though On the game, i thought first half we controlled the game and u hardly got into out half. We had a few chances including freaky deax's two sitters of headers! Your first goal, the free kick was a cracking strike but was a little disappointed of Our keepers positioning and the wall. Your 2nd goal went straight through our keeper. He didn't have the best of days but hopefully next week he will be back to form! He only had 3 shots to save all game and all hit the back of the net Yes I see where your coming from about dexter. I was surprised myself but apart from that you did alright out the ref today! Sure he was on commission today! Chris Love started on the bench today but came on to hit a cracker into the top corner! Also nice seeing Jay Oliver finally getting on the score sheet! Good luck for next week mate and hope the injury won't keep you out!

Also got to say the foxes lads are top lads, came and had a beer after the game and I wish them all the best for the season as played in game 2day for foxes dezza u spot on with all comments m8, use much deserved the win over 90mins and very fair result. just wished we could of kicked off at 9.30 so could of got few goals head start on use as u only had 8 at 10.30.

Milan Ceko (2) Danilo Trifunovic
We were down to our bare bones this morning, missing 6 players, all pretty much our attackers which left us with nothing up front.

Cheers pal, thought I was just winded at first but turns out I've torn a back muscle, I did the same thing in pre season which kept me out for a couple of weeks. Thats why I stayed on tbh as at first of all thought it was just wind and would pass and its more awkward changing a keeper than it is an outfield player. As for the peno shout! There was no way I was pulling out of that and I'm about 95% certain I got the ball or the ball wouldn't have gone out that fast in that direction! I'd agree with analysis of first half. Couldn't believe one of the free header misses from about 10 yards out! Had a couple of fairly straightforward saves to make first half but that was about it. Your centre backs won absolutely everything in the air too, rocks. 4 out of the 5 players we use in our attacking quartet were missing today and it really did show first half. The ref had a bit of an odd game to be fair, gave your lads a lot of cards for dissent but seemed to keep his cards in his pocket on most other things. I think even Dexter thought he was off. Cracking third goal too. Im fairly sure I'll be out next week and the week after is BW fortunately (which is rather pointless to us!) so can have enough time to recover for County Cup week. Best of luck to your lads too for next week!

Defo game of two halfs some good football by both teams but second half got one goal but just could not score again. As for the windging we did have the odd couple of moaners but you had a couple especially number 8 who seemed to like falling over every tackle he didnt like. Nice to see the Norman brothers and there dad Good luck to you boys and looking forward to return leg

Good luck to you boys and looking forward to return leg I've not met a team that doesn't have at least one moaner!! (Our wide men switched a few times, did you mean no.12 or guy with the beard??) Fair comments really, we started far too slowly and were a bit rushed 1st half. Although felt we started to get into it after the 3rd goal ( that guy will mention that goal a few times in the next week or so!). 2nd half we really turned it round, but couldn't create enough really good chances despite lots of possession and pressure
