| We are having a fund-raising night August 7th, with some money going to Rainbows Childrens Hospice, we are having a karaoke and quiz night and we will be looking further down the line to have more nights like it to help get through the season | |

| Another good way is where u have the 20 premier league clubs in a hat, with each player/club member drawing 1 and pay £1 each week until the first team scores 11 goals, splitting the profits 60-40 between the winner each time and the club | |

| U write down all 20 premier league clubs on bits of paper and put them in a hat. Each person draws one out, then each week from that day u pay £1 until the first of those teams reaches 11 goals, the winner would get a percentage of the money taken while some goes to club, something like 60%-40% perhaps?
Hope that makes better sense Phoenix

| And you have to 'land' exactly on 11 goals, if your team hits 12 you start again from 0....i believe... |

| We are going to crack on with a pub quiz at some stage as well, get every member to bring a team to your pub, entry £2 per person, hopefully at least £80 in the fund, if you get other regulars involved then you could easily double that, give first prize of £50, club keeps the rest, pub gets the beer money.... |

| Us at webbys do f.a. cup envelopes at start of season all premier clubs Any championship a-n then o-z. And a booby prize. Sign the envelope across the seal and draw them at presentation night £1 a week. Normally makes us about £200. Pay out winners runners up and losing semis along with a booby. | |

| At AC Wigston, we go to all Leicestershire fetes and fun days, we've been at Braunstone Town Gala, Broughton Astley, Blaby, Evington, Birstall.
We have a speed machine, which tests the speed you can kick it, when you smash it at a goal. Recently did one at Broughton Astley and made just under £200. I no Birstall Stamford do a penalty shoot out at the Birstall Gala day.
Sponsorship is alot harder, but you just need to keep in constant contact with companies and be cheeky and ask.
Hope that helps. | |

| were not looking for sponsorship as we are fortunate to have some extremely generous business friends, but it gives the other teams who do struggle some ideas | |

| Another way to get money in is by charging 50p a meg in training wen u have 5-a-side or something. Or even do it during friendlies or league games, we did it in training the first week and made an extra £8! not much but its still a few quid | |

| I got our lads to do a sponsored run when we started the club to pay for the pitch fees. they pulled in £300 between them. Even those that didn't raise money had to take part in the run, and those who didn't turn up did it at the following training (though they didn't know that til they turned up to training!!!)
Also do the scratch cards, but can be hard to do when not many go to the pub.
