Sponsorship...

What sort of sponsorship does everyone have lined up for next season?

At Fosse, we have nothing sorted and could do with some for our new kits. Up to now we have been funded by our ex secretarys fathers company, but as he's now moved on he's taken the sponsorship with him.

Also, what fund raising events do teams organise nowadays? And is this as well as or instead of sponsorship?

try doing a fantasy football tournament on the official premiership one. ten quid entry, use half the cash as a prize.

pub quiz, again half entry fee to club. scratch card choose a team thing.

we've done stuff such as pool tournaments, killer, snooker tournaments, scratch cards, bbq's, Fun days, Footy quiz.
Like widds said, half prize money and half to the club! Aslong as u got the interest then its all good.

We did the 3 peaks challenge a couple of years back and raised alot of money. Alot of the lads really wanted to do it and a few locals. 75% to a local charity and 25% to the club. the lads had to dig deep in there pockets but is a cracking challenge and raised a great amount for charity and the club

We're lucky enough to have secured sponsorship again with the Mughal Crown Indian Restaurant in Wigston which will be a great help!

On top of this we try to do a bit of fundraising....we do an annual quiz which attracts about 80 people so makes a good bit of money. This season we have also done a race night at the Winchester with help from Ladbrokes and an auction night with help (including items and an appearance) from Premiership ref Kevin Friend.

Lots of opportunities to make a bit extra for the club, just got be be selective and sensible with the options.

Kilworth are have sponsors but also have a race night. Get a DVD from eBay, and read how to run one. Quite simple.

We raise about £500 every time. We sell the names for the horses before hand (£3 each). Then get the profits from 50% of the betted total.

See if a local pub will let you have it there and they will be happy and make money on the bar, you will benefit from locals joining in too.

We approached Cuisine India in Wigston but apparently they already sponsor 2 teams grrr. Would've been ideal. However, looks like we have almost secured the sponsorship we need but it's not quite a done deal just yet.

Fantasy football looks a surefire success, so I will definitely be giving that a go! Will run the idea of a race night by the sec as it seems to be a good earner!
