During our meeting with the league, they seemed quite helpful and confident that we would be able to get a pitch, i have applied as requested to the council and they have acknowledged this. When can we expect to be advised which pitch we will get (if any) so that i can make contingency plans if needed (Asda car park, jumpers for goalposts!). Cheers.

Every club waiting to hear from City Council should keep trying to find alternatives.

Unfortunately, because of the FA money available for youth football, adult pitches are hard to come by.

Already 2 of our teams have been turfed off their pitch to make way for youth football who are prepared to pay huge sums of money..

We wait and see what is going to happen with the FA/City Council funded developments. The alleged flagship adult development at Aylestone Playing Fields has still not got planning permission.
