County Competition Finals

The Alliance League is represented in 3 County Competition Finals, two of which are All Alliance clashes.

Thursday 26 March - Sunday Intermediate Cup - Snarestone Globe 2011 v Phoenix United

Thursday 2 April - Sunday Shield - Huncote Sunday v Sileby Athletic

Friday 24 April - Sunday Premier Cup - Oadby Owls Mens v Star & Garter

All at Holmes Park, all with a 7.00pm kick off

Talking about Holmes Park finals - the 4 Alliance finals are on Friday 27 March, Friday 3 April, Friday 10 April and Friday 17 April - again all with a 7.00pm kick off

So plenty of diary dates to get along to Holmes Park to give the teams your support

It's a massive IF as Leicester Foxes are massive favourites against us but if we win our EW semi we have to play Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday???

The preferred sequence is Moore - Stokes - Foster - Walton.

However we need to get the remaining rounds played to have two finalists in each competition. Some teams, though are a victim of their own cup success generally and are proving a slight problem with availability to fit the matches in.

As always that is a fixture problem for James to sort

Also, you will certainly not be playing for Sileby Athletic on a Saturday

Can you make the Walton a week earlier please. Slim chance of us making the final, but if we did some of us have holidays booked

That's OK then. I cant really handle 3 games in a weekend but I would have no chance with 4!

Booked the 27th March off from work so there is a good chance I will be down for that final with my camera.

I believe the Trophy matter is now resolved.

Any news on the Billy Walton - or has this now been permanently expunged? First time I have ever heard of a cup/trophy having no name on the trophy.

Ironic as it prevents Star & Garter possibly doing the quadruple...

As Mark says still out of the leagues hands just a waiting game

It may well be the first for the Alliance but this has happened before across other competitions in Leicestershire
