Here we go again ... !! ....


Dukla St Andrews 2 v 3 Suecastle - going for an away win on this one, think Suecastles performance last week will give them great confidence. Low scoring game with winner winning by the odd goal.

Friar Lane 3 v 2 Aberdale Galacticos - another very close game, was impressed by Aberdale when we played them, keeper never kicks always short balls, play the passing game. But Friar lane after last weeks loss will want to get back to winning ways. Going for an home win just.

Inter Mivan ? v ? Royalist - should be good game, want to keep the form going so hoping not many changes this weekend.

Pukka Pies 4 v 2 Global Athletic - home win, home advantage for me in this game. Pukka beat Suecastle at home last game, so should be confident.

Trinderbox 2 v 3 Wigston Fields 2012 - both teams need the win to kickstart their season. Fields been involved in close games. very close game, away win for me just.

Vale 5 v 3 Wigston Plough Rovers - both strong teams, and prob game of the weekend. Plough could cause Vale problems, and it would not be a surprise to see them come away with a result. But vale are strong with some of our old players going back to them. Going for home win but hoping for any other result.

Dukla 2-5 Suecastle - Dukla seem to have lost a few players from last season, but still doing okay, not played them yet though, and suecastle were a good team, brilliant game in our 1-0 win can see them nicking it.

Friar Lane 4-1 aberdale - Depends which Friar Lane turn up, but reckon they'll be too strong

Inter Mivan 3-1 Royalist - Good form for Inter Mivan so home win for me

Pukkas 3-0 Global - after last season we had two good games, depends what side global have tbh but now we've sorted our defence out we should win this game

Trinderbox 2-2 Fields - Tight game can't pick a winner

Vale 6-2 Wigston Plough - Vale got too much quality for wigston plough I think although depends who vale have out again as we beat them 3-1 first game of season

Vale 4-3 Wigston Plough - Reckon this will be a close game with only a goal in it.

Dukla 0-3 Suecastle - Simply because that's what I went with on the main predictions page!

Friar Lane 5-4 Galacticos - Both teams have scored and conceded there fair share so can see this going either way.

Mivan 3-1 Royalist - Know very little about either side so going with a home win due to the amount they're hitting the back of the net.

Pukka 4-2 Global - Can't see many teams going to PP and getting much. Solid team.

Trinderbox 2-2 W Fields - A draw isn't what either side needs but given their early form it may well just turn out that way.

Vale 3-1 WPR - Would like an away win to keep things tight at the top but just can't see it unfortunately.

Dukla St Andrews 1 v 2 Suecastle - probably close, with Dukla well organised especially at the back. Just going for Suecastle though based purely on their last result

Friar Lane 4 v 2 Aberdale Galacticos - Friar Lane will want to bounce back. Don't know anything about Aberdale so backing the home team.

Inter Mivan ? v ? Royalist - picked up two bad injuries last week but should have a few back. Will be tough as always against a hardworking and solid team.

Pukka Pies 3 v 2 Global Athletic - tempted to say draw but think pukka may just have enough. Another close game!

Trinderbox 3 v 3 Wigston Fields 2012 - was a little surprised by Trinderbox last week. Don't know too much about WF but seems as though they've given everyone a tough run.

Vale 4 v 2 Wigston Plough Rovers -  No clue on WPR,  would be good if they can take the points but I can't see myself backing many teams against Vale this season as they have the players to get plenty of goals.

Good to have a bit of banter and interest from our division.

6 games played at weekend and the biggest win was 4-1, other results 1-0, 2-0, 0-2, 4-3, and 5-4. All close games, no stupid rugby scorelines, cant ask for more.
Congrats to Wigston Fields for first win, much deserved, been unlucky with close scorelines.
And Unlucky WPR ... looks like a cracking game against Vale. And cant forget Dukla, all of us predicted win for Suecastle, Gotta love football !!

Has anyone else from Div 5 had letters through about having to replay games?

We've got to replay Inter Mivian and Suecastle due to them fielding non registered players, - don't know anything more atm..........

We've been accused of playing a non-registered player against you on the first day of the season after it appears Morley did not receive his registration in the post. As you can imagine we're incredibly disappointed by this especially as we have no control of the postal service and it inconveniences both of our teams by having to play again etc.

thank you for enlightening us of the situation, we do understand as it can easily happen. we look forward to playing you 3 times this season

.... same here too.... late reg means we got to play you again too ... sorry for that but it does mean you can turn around our previous result.

Just curious; if you're the home team and are not in the wrong and the game has to be replied who pays for the pitch and referee?

Usually, the defaulting club pays approved expenses, but not players' travelling costs, and any 'illegal' player(s) who played in the first game and not allowed to play in the rearranged game.
Note, this is what normally happens but every case is treated on its merits and may not apply in every case.
