| SPARTA MOSHDOCK 1-3 AC Wigston
Duncan Pickering
A bad day at the office for us. We never really got started, although part of that is down to Wigston who didn't allow us to settle. They were quick and committed all over the pitch and just wanted it more than us.
Expertly reffed by Kevin Friend as well.
Cheers to AC Wigston lads, good bunch and the match played in the right way...good luck for the rest of the season.
Draw a line under it for us and move on.

| Enness United 4 - 1 Desford Athletic
Happy to get our first points of the season today. We have finally started playing to our potential.
First half we were unplayable. We worked the ball around well and the movement was superb.
All of our goals came from great play, quick movement and around 4 minutes in, Dave whitehead scored his third goal in 3. Desford looked threatening occasionally but we soon netted our second with Liam Davies bagging from an unselfish pass. We grabbed our third with a bullet header from Iain Gray.
Second half we didn't seem to wake up from the break for 30 minutes and Desford saw that. They grabbed a goal from our sloppy defending. We kept battling and the defending got better. After a few changes and a long 'one-two', Jake Shingler rose in the box to score a cross goal header.
Confidence will have grown going into the next few games I'm sure

| We drew Went 2nil down a ht no organisation from us webbys battled away got a goal we missed a penalty and from resulting kick from keeper they broke away scored but it was one way traffic we must off had 35 minimum chances . Missing 2 key players in nath Kewmoss, and Makke Adams. But webbys defended with heart and spirit and that's a fair result cus the deserved 2-0 lead , it's a tough league and everyone will beat each other . Good luck webbys rest off season | |

| Dukla 0-1 Mivan
.... away win and clean sheat. cant ask for more against a good Dukla side and esp after conceding 14 in 2 games. Always a close game against Dukla and this time no different. We played some lovely football and should of been out of sight hitting post and bar a couple of times but Dukla did hit post in last 10 mins. Great game played in great spirit barring a little incident, that we won't let spoil a great game of football. Best of luck Dukla for rest of season !!
Div 5 has got to be the closely contested league in the alliance, credit to the Alliance Committee. Very close scorelines most weeks, with the odd daft scoreline (But we know Sunday football is all about the Sat night - and who recovers or does not). Looking forward to an interesting season.

| Monsell WMC 6-0 East Goscote
Dont let the result fool you, this was a very even game. Credit to our back 4 and keeper for keeping the clean sheet. East Goscote matched us all over the park, we just took our chances and Goscote wasted a fair few goal scoring opportunities. It was 2-0 up until the last 15 minutes and then Goscotes heads went down and we took advantage of that to net 4 late on. All the best to East Goscote, should finish in the top 4.
Scorers... Kev Jones 3 Paul Angrave off the bench 2 Phil Dalby 1

| A.F.C Royal Oak 3-3 Seaton
Chris Love (3)
Turned up with an unrecognisable team having signed on 4 players during the week to try and get us to make 11. And then luckily had 2 players I know turn up after having their match called off in the Hinckley league. Seaton put us under pressure in the first 20 minutes but we looked dangerous on the break and went infront with Lovey lobbing the oncoming keeper. The rest of the half played out very even and a free kick to Seaton just before half time was floated in and was bundled in somehow to see us go in at the break 1-1 Second half we came out the blocks and played some good stuff and started to dominate. We went into a 3-1 lead with Lovey bagging his hat trick and seemed to be cruising to victory but Seaton never gave up. In the last minute After good work from Seatons impressive right winger he played an undefendable ball into the box which saw our Debutant Centre back turning it into his own net to equalise.
Was very unfortunate to not see our first 3 points but credit to Seaton who battled well. A good game to be involved in between two teams who just should not be in this division at all but we soldier on.
Special mention to Ref Paul Stones who had a top notch game. After refereeing performances in the last two weeks it was a delight to have an approachable and consistent ref who was very fair.
Next week see's us up against Webbys who had a very impressive result against Mowmacre yesterday. Im just hoping this week isn't as much of a struggle to get 11 players together!

| Aths 6 Leicester Bharat Talbot
Ropey performance, our home pitch wasn't great. Took us a while to get going, struggled to deal with the pace of one of their players and he scored a very good goal. They went 2-1 up, we got a breakthrough with a penalty to go 2-2 then scored right on half time to go 3-2. LBT equalized 3-3 to put us back under pressure but made 3 changes in the space of 5 mins then around 15 mins to go we made it 4-3. It made us much fresher and ended up scoring 2 toward the end. Scoreline flattered us slightly based on the performance but i was happy that we scrapped to get another 3 points.
Bharat Talbot will score goals they are v.good on the break.

| Mowacre 2 webbys 2. Good point but a poor refereeing decision turned the game when mowacre kicked the ball out of keepers hands and bundled it home to give them the impatus. Had to defend for our lives towards the end of the game had 5 players missing from the moshdock game so makes it all the sweeter. Looking forward to next weeks game hopefully have a better squad to pick from. 4 points better off than this time last year. | |

But 1st goal yes keeper had ball it was bobbling your keeper had 1 hand on top off it which our lad followed up a great save he just played on and ref decision to let play go helped but fair result you deserved lead we deserved something from our 30chances 2nd half we all was disappointed but next week Makke Adams is back he'll score 2 lol

| Tomlin 5-0 oadby
Good turn out for us and starting with 4 strikers due no no natural center mids maybe helped the score line! Oadby a good side and maybe would do a little better if they played with 2 up top instead of 1 in my opinion they worked hard as a team and I think they will have a good season!!!

| fc pochin 4 npe 1 another good win against a very committed npe side who did not take there chances where we did starting to find our feet a bit in this division after a shaky start but have a tough game against Leicester foxes this week we came out of the blocks quickly and went 2-0 up in 20 mins thanks to top scorer kenny galloway the game then evened out with both sides having chances and ended up the same score at half time npe came at us in the second half and were having a lot of the play, then we got a penalty up stepped jimmy(I took all the penalties at my old club and never missed one)osit and hit the bar npe continued to push more men forward and we hit them on the break to make it 3-0 they then got a deserved goal back before we got our fourth in the last few minutes a mention to the one armed ref mark who plays the advantage rule really well and gave an all round excellent performance best of luck to npe for the season they will get their fair share of wins | |

United Revolution 4-1 Bulls Head Whetstone
A massive improvement from last week and the lads responded in the right way.
I asked them prior to the game to go and performance as a team and improve on the previous weeks poor showing, the lads did me proud and did exactly that.
Bulls Head are another solid side that proved very difficult to break down, once they found their feet and got used to the big Huncote pitch they looked like a good side and got a deserved goal.
Our goals came from: Jim Markley Warren Ball Luke Moore and MOTM Kieran Rowley
CFA next which will be a big test - bring it on
