A massive achievement for us and what a time to finally beat S&G!

We were on it from the first whistle, hassling and closing down Star and it paid off when Aaron got a bit of space and unleashed and worldy from about 30 yards. Not long after Lee Tyers did the same and we were 2 up.

Star came back at us 2nd half and put on the pressure, although our work rate never stopped and we defended heroically, meaning they had very few chances. They got one back through Jim Mee and then we had to withstand a lot more pressure until Steve Morley scored a fairy tale 3rd in injury time after some excellent play from Aaron on the wing. Cue the jubilant scenes!

I think there might be a fair few sore heads today and god knows what side we will have out against GT on Sunday, but it was all more than worth it. After a difficult season, with lots of ups and downs, this was back to the top for Moshdock!
