| Billy Walton - Niffy 0 - 3 SPARTA MOSHDOCK Aaron Preston Sam Gillespie Nolly Preston
The wind had a big impact on the game today, but we got the important win to put us in the hat for the next round.
First half was all one way traffic as we really pinned Niffy into their own half. Due to a couple of misses, some last ditch defending and poor final passes we didn't get as many goals as we would of hoped and went in 1-0 up.
Second half and Niffy came back a bit, but they never really caused us any major issues. We again wasted some good breaks but got two more goals to finish the game off.
Well played to the Niffy lads, they never gave up and tried to play in the right way. Good luck for the rest of the season.
Finally, superbly reffed by Jim Hubbard.

| Wigston Fields 2012 FC 2 - 3 Blaby United
Mark Allen x2
Poor from start to finish today and only ourselves to blame. We didn't play the football we had recently and were sloppy and slow. Decisions didn't quite go our way but that's no excuse. Blaby battled hard and wanted it more. 1-0 down at half time after soppy defending allowed blaby to fire home after a couple of attempts. We could have easily gone in ahead as we had to two clean cut chances that we would normally put away but blaby did well and had their own chances. Second half we woke up a bit and got back into with two goals from mark Allen with calm finishes. It was downhill from their those as after an altercation not dealt with blaby won a free kick which they converted to equalise. Things went from bad to worse when Stef Kuzyk looked to strain a hamstring and had to come off with no replacement as all the subs where used. After a long ball and sloppy defending again Blably poked home and saw the game out to gain all three points. Credit to the Blaby lads for getting the game played and battling well to get the win. We will have to come back strong and bounce back next week.

| Well we let Azzurri off lightly today only just losing a closely fought game 9-0 to be fair our boys showed div 6 in a good light. We tried to compete but experience told in the vital parts, like scoring a goal. It will take a great team from stopping my old team mates winning the billy Walton. Well done to Dezza, Jules and all at Azzurri and thanks for the spread down the lounge | |

| A.f.c royal oak 1-3 enness
scorer chris love
well done to enness today for the win. What a battle today for both teams. Enness came out the blocks the strongest and were 1-0 up through a viciously deflected shot that found its way in. This seemed to spark us into life and for the next 20 mins we seemed to pile on some pressure and had some good openings. Enness finished the half the better though and had some long range efforts that were straight at the keeper.
My only gripe was the performance of the referee. In my opinion he did not let the game flow with two good teams trying to play football. I dont know if he was being assessed but he wasnt consistent enough in my opinion. If hes going to blow up for a foul for a certain offence then he needs to do this through out the game.
the second half for 40 mins was one way traffic as we piled on the pressure finally getting our equaliser through persistent work through Chris Love. We played some terrific stuff but could not put the game to bed. With five.mins left our keeper comes 30yards out to clear a ball but finds enness forward who lobs a good ball into the back of the net. With seconds left our keeper bombs up forward for a last gasp corner only for enness to break and get the goal. On reflection a draw would of been the right result but as we pushed for the winner we were caught.
like I said, well done to Enness for finishing their chances. Leaves us needed a possible 10 points from 4 games to win the league. With injuries piling up with suspensions and M.I.A's its going to be a hard slog to get the title now. We have the players, its just getting them all down for every game left!

| FC Pochin 1 v 2 Wigston Rangers (Stokes Cup) Emerson Black-Chambers Having realised plan A of trying to isolate Pochin's veteran central defender had backfired when it was established he's actually quicker than Mitchell and Coleman, Wigston's plan B was to unfortunately cheat and kick their way to the semi final. With us comfortably 1-0 up, Coleman took a dive in the box with no Pochin player within 5 yards meaning the game was tied up 1-1 at half time. 2nd half Dirty Tom was eventually booked after his 17th consecutive foul. Wigston manager Heggs was heard to say 'it doesn't matter if you don't win the ball lads'. Heggs then instructed 'go down easily, its our only chance' which a Wigston player duly did resulting in their winner as the game ended 1-2. Obviously the above is all a complete lie......!! Wigston thoroughly deserved their win today, they out fought us in every department and simply had more desire - we were very poor and don't think we even had a shot 2nd half. Got a lot of time for all the Wigston lads, they are a sound bunch - good luck to Malc, Dan, Leon, Tom etc in the semi final | |

| Royal oak 1 - 3 Enness United
Not more I can really add to the previous report. Fair comments tbf. John Willson got a well deserved goal today with his deflected volley. His goal all day though. His first of the season. Alex smith and Andy Morris both scored late on.
So happy we took all three points today as now the title race is very much still on. I thought we were gonna throw it away by not coming out the blocks for 35 mins in second half!
I would like to add that we showed great commitment today and we battled until 90 mins to get the result we thought we could get.
Proud of the lads and roll on last game!!

| FC AZZURRI 9 v 0 dukla St. Andrews
Brett Marvin 4 Dave Coleman 3 Lee Barratt Ashleigh James
First of all got to say well done to the dukla lads their heads never went and they tried to play football for the entire 90 minutes!!! I think their biggest downfall was they stood off us too much and showed possibly a bit to much respect to us at times. That being said we played some excellent football again and seems like our lads have come back refreshed after the enforced 3 month break haha we were wobbling a bit before Xmas but the time off has given some lads the time to recover from injuries and having Danny hodgkinson back from injury is like a new signing!

| fc pochin 1 wigston rangers 2 stokes cup quarter final not the best game of football i've ever seen defences were on top and the 2 sides seemed to cancel each other out there were very few goalscoring chances for the whole 90mins but on the day wigston wanted it more and all that mattered was getting through to the semi final the only plus point for us was for the second time this season we have managed to shut out wigstons prolific forwards as both their goals today came from their centre back all the best to malc, dan, leon and the lads, lets hope we have gone out to the eventual winners
as for us we now have 11 of our own cup finals in an effort to try to win the division

| LDA 4 - 2 Bees Knees Nick Granger Nathan Richardson Nick Coupland Mark Green
It was good to be involved in a competitive game again this week and we finally won for the first time in a long while. Add to that two goalscorers were ex Bees Knees players 9myself included) added the cherry on top.
The game was fairly open from beginning to end but I think most would agree that LDA had more of the ball and pressure. Dave Harris scored the opener for Bees Knees with a brilliant 25 yard curler with the outside of his wandy left foot. Nick Granger scuffed one home to level it up after the 'Knees keeper parried a rasping long shot.
The second half was a bit more end to end. I scored a 4-yard wonder goal after the keeper again spilled a cross right in front of me. Then Spilling (no pun) levelled at the other end when either a freak bobble or keeper error allowed the ball to divert in from a 30 yard pot shot.
Nick Coupland's cross found the net to put LDA in front with 20 mins to play. Mark Green selaed the win tapping home after the keeper saved a header from close range.
All in all a good win and hopefully it will spur us on got our last 5 games.
